It did. Used to be the middle of January, the weekend of my birthday. There are more teams now, so there are more playoff games and that pushed the Superbowl back 2 weeks.
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

Sorry I haven't been posting much lately. I'm dry camping at Lake Dorr in the Ocala National Forest. Evidently not too far from some of you. Since I have to run my gen to watch tv I try to watch the time and make sure it's off by 10. I'm not into the superbowl or football at all, but Sunday night is Downton Abbey night. Ran the gen for 3 hours while watching PBS and making dinner. Soon as my show ended I turned off the gen and settled in for bed with my laptop charged. Now as I sit here catching up a little I hear the hum of 2 or 3 gens in this small campground so I know the game is still on. Don't guess the quiet time rule applies tonight!

Had a nice surprise today of a visit from the couple I worked with last year at Okeefenokee. Seems they have begun a job in Leesville which is only about 20 miles from me. Linda reads my blog and knew I was in central FL so she sent me a text and they came over after church today to visit. They are working at a church camp for a month helping with some remodeling work. I followed them back to their campsite with my bike on the carrier and then we had a nice bike ride on the trails around the camp. Even saw an eagle on her nest. A very good reconnect. They are just beginning their time here and I am leaving tomorrow. But it was nice to see them.

Will sign off now and try to read a little of the news while I still have the batteries charged in the laptop. When I hear the other gens in the park go off I'll check the news page to see who won.
