The Day has Finally Arrived

Hello everyone,
I know you thought my daughter and I had vanished from the face of the earth but in fact, I have been downsizing like crazy and I got sent to NY to work Sandy claims.

Anyway, this is to tell you that tomorrow we head to Nexus RV in Elkhart, IN, to tour the plant and order the RV. I am so excited and will fill you in on the trip when we get back. We decided to take the train because we were not sure of the weather, glad we are because it is suppose to snow tomorrow there.

Glad you are back, Louise....My niece, who works for the COE as a Safety Inspector, has been in NYC for 3 weeks so far, inspecting stuff.....so can relate....

Hi everyone! Mom's excuse was Sandy. Mine? Holidays and cooking make for a crazy couple of months. Sheesh!

Anyway, yes, the train leaves around 2:30pm tomorrow. We (mom, me, and my helpful hubby) get to Elkhart (South Bend actually) around 7:30am. Grab the rental car, some breakfast then off to Nexus. They're expecting us so this shout be interesting.

Promise lots of pics as long as I don't get totally overwhelmed! That or not being able to move my arms. It's going to be 14 degrees and I'm going to look like The Michelin Man!

Such excitement on ordering new rig; bet you don't sleep on the way to factory.
Are you going to add extra compartments for all the sewing machines? (It looks like Dawn did.)
