Issues prevented me from bringing my rig to the GTG, but my daughter Mandy and I drove up on Sunday for the day. It was definitely the best medicine for me. My batteries were recharged and I am starting to plan my spring get away.

It was great fun to finally meet in person and "in dog" all my friends on this forum. However it was a little overwhelming trying to remember everyone with so many in attendance. We spent the day at Irmi and Steve's with CarolB. Later when the others joined it was a food fest, then back to Sarasota for us.

Mandy loved meeting the group. She now understands why I wanted to attend this GTG so badly. I know she conversed with several of the group and found them to be very interesting.

The park is beautiful. Everyone was in high spirits and looking forward to Monday's activities. Tina thanks for posting pics. I got to vicariously enjoy the kayaking.

OK. When's the next GTG?

I knew it! I just knew it! Miss CArol found herself a guy AGAIN! I told you guys, you have to watch her every minute or she's off walking the campsites again! CArol, Sparkle would have been proud of you, ya hussy!!! Did you have liver treats in your pocket????

And look at Mr. Nicky walking a trail like he'd been born to do it! What a guy, but of course he had the great and wonderful Thistle to show him how it's done! I'm still waiting for someone to have a few swallows of recipe and then try to say "Thistle" 7 times in a row!
