I hope someone has tried it. I've been hoping it's a good project cuz I hate wrestling with the white hose.

Doesn't say anything about being safe enough to use for drinking water. The white hoses are made of something different than your green garden-variety hose. Don't think I'd try it unless they specifically state that they're safe for drinking through.

Vickie - Horizonseeker, has one (not sure what brand but same principle). Saw it last fall when she was in north AL. She used it to wash her kayak.
For those who wash their rigs, should work great for that. I'm not one of them but after seeing hers, think I want one for the house.

I saw a similar one for RVs. Learned to work it had to be fully extended, which negated it's plusses for me. And it had bad reviews. Camping World had it. Don't know it they still have it or not.

It would be better than that big green hose I carry around. For what, I am not sure of yet. Haven't used it for anything yet. I know I need to wash the rig, but haven't done it yet.

Sounds like there are a lot of issues with only getting one hose when ordering two, and being overcharged for them besides. Probably a good idea to wait until Walmart or Target carry them. That way you can return them if they break right away and not have to hassle with the original company who doesn't seem to be very helpful.

I bought a hose once that was flat (not kinky like this one) and came with a reel to wrap it around. I remember that one working really well and was easy to use. Not sure what the name of it was tho. I think I bought it from K-Mart at the time.

I don't know about Walmart or Target, but I did see them at Walgreens already.

My stepdaughter sent me one for my birthay last year. Mine is called the Xhose. So far I've had no problems with it. It is much easier to store since it will collapse into a small plastic box that I store in the outside shower compartment. I do have a 12 ft. white hose for hooking up the water most of the time. Right now I'm in Lake Worth and my site is great except for one thing: the electric hook up is about 10 ft from my rig but the water hookup is on the other side of the rig and over 50 ft away. I have the Xhose hooked up for water because my othe white hose is only 25 ft which is usually enough. This is not a problem for me because I buy water in a gallon jug from the store (85 cents at walmart). So I'm pleased with it especially since I didn't spend any money on it. Maybe I'll put in a hint for a second one for this year's birthday.

Bottom line, for me, is a "no", even though I don't drink water from my tank.
Reviews lead me to believe this isn't a hose to be left connected under pressure for any length of time.

Camping world has a hose called a never kink hose. Works really well and IS intended for drinking water. I've got one and it was well worth the few extra bucks it cost.

Danged if I know! Can't check as my rv isn't here...but I can guess that 1/2" is standard. Anyone else know?
