Winging it!

Let's get together!

Winging it!

Postby bikerchic777 » Fri Jan 25, 2013 9:21 pm

I got my notice today that my last day of work at Amazon will be on Feb. 1st. I have decided to travel a bit and visit friends and relatives. I will be heading to Clarksville,TN to visit my DB and DSIL, first. From there, I plan to go to Meridian, MS to meet a cousin I've never met. I would like to spend some time in southern MS or LA. It would be nice if I could GTG with some of the gals on the forum :D Please let me know if this is doable for you. If anyone lives in this area, and I can park at your house for a visit, please let me know this, also. I have never wandered aimlessly and I'm going to embrace this as a much needed vacation 8-)

Surviving that long Amazon season was quite a feat. You deserve some wandering time - glad you decided to go for it.

Yay! You deserve it! Have fun! I am sure there are a lot of sisters in that area you can meet up with around the southern states there. Wish I could ride along with you!

Thanks for the words of encouragement :D It has been so long since I posted pics on here, so may need some coaching when the time comes. Barbie...We would have a lot of fun 8-) Some of my friends here recommended driving on the Natchez Trace Parkway. They said RVs are allowed, but not big rig trucks. Sounds good to me! Also, very scenic and free campgrounds? Anyone who has driven it, I would appreciate any insight.

If you do a search here, many of us have taken it and posted about it. You could also search my blog for my last trip on it.
