Sarah and Wendy made it into DeFuniak Springs, FL this afternoon. Was really glad to see them. I got all my chores done by just after noon and went outside to sit and wait for them to get here. I saw two rigs pulling in just before 3 or so and just knew it was them, especially when the guy directing them in pulled in right in front of my rig. The Workamper here helped Sarah get her rig all hooked up and Paul was helping Wendy. She was having an issue with her water. They could get her fresh water tank and hot water tank filled, but cannot get water directly into her rig. They searched everywhere for the valve but could not find it to fix the problem. Wendy thinks it may be under her bed, but will have to unload there to check it out tomorrow. No worries, all her tanks are full so she has plenty of water for the night.
We sat outside and visited until just before the sun went down. By then it was starting to get a little cool, so we moved the gathering into the rig where it was warm.
I had promised to take pictures so grabbed my camera. Wendy ducked her head but I will get a better picture tomorrow.
Sarah went and put her sweatshirt back on. I don't blame her. It was getting pretty cool.
We are going to get together in the morning for breakfast and then plan where we all want to stop for the night on Wednesday. I love meeting the forum ladies. It's as if you have known each other forever. We had a great evening.
