Thanks so much for all the birthday wishes. It was a great day and here's how it went:

Got an early morning email from my son in Iraq wishing me a Happy Birthday - I replied back - then he called me on the phone! Yippee! That was my best present, getting to speak with him.

At work I got a dozen red roses from my son, his wife and granddaughter. Later that night my DIL and granddaughter brought over a little cake that looked like my Maltese and they gave me a cute little dress for Annie to wear on our next RV trip.

A co-worker took me to lunch at Cracker Barrel where I received a warm chocolate brownie with walnuts, covered with melting chocolate and vanilla ice cream - and they sang to me (how embarrassing!).

That night DH took me out to dinner and gave me a HUGE surprise. I'll be posting that surprise under another title - Birthday Shock
