Red, that dealer has an rv park in Florida, also. They've sent me free 3 night stays a couple times for both of them, but I've never used them. Some day they'll send me one I'll be able to use. Enjoy Tucson. Lots to do in the area.

Cold here this morning, but peaches and I just had a good walk. She'll love it in the desert the next week. Well starting tomorrow. So much to do today, and I'm not getting to any of it. So off I go....

Yes, Sarah that would be me with the rope on my stool to get into the cab! My friend Janie in TN suggested it...

My deck and handrail still have ice on them... hope the sun melts it soon... am not sure about getting out on the ice... has not been warm enough to melt it...

My daughter Margie will have some kind of surgery (I think it is done with a needle not opening up the spine.) on Thursday they go in and burn the nerves in her spine to help with the pain... sounds very scary to me... I will spend the day with her and get dinner for them...

Afternoon...went and visited with the old man cat this afternoon, took him some food from home because he wasn't eating what they were trying to feed him. He didn't eat while I was there but the vet just called to tell me that he has finally eaten some and may be able to come home tomorrow! I'm so happy! I know I'm just buying time...for me and for him...but it is so hard sometimes knowing what the right decision is for them.

BFF had to cancel lunch today cause her gd is home sick...so maybe tomorrow. I did get to the bank, post office and DMV to get my license renewed for another 5 years.

Well, almost time to get some dinner going...I think we are having leftover spaghettie. Gd is soooooo picky and doesn't eat well at all...worries me. But spaghettie is one thing that she does like.

Sounds hopeful for Elvis, Paulette. I know what you mean about making those life/death decisions for our 4-footers....it always kills a part of me to have to do it, and yet, I so wish someone could do the same for me when my life is no longer worth living for me. It's Elvis's namesake's birthday this month, too-----can't remember the day, but know it's January.

They are making appliances too darn smart. Something else to go wrong. My washing machine is always telling me the door is open and it's not. And then it wants to be cleaned. What is it doing when it washes the clothes? I was at a Burger King that has one of the fountain machines that says it has some ungodly number of combinations. I was sitting there watching a worker mess with it and ask if that thing gave them trouble. The worker said she hated it.

I just got back from Lafayette again. It has rained a cold drizzly rain all day. It's a good thing it's not freezing here or we would be in a mess. There is a town West of here that is in danger of flooding from a levee break if this rain doesn't stop. At least the North wind is helping push some water out to the gulf.
