Happy to be here!

Come on in and say hello.

Happy to be here!

Postby Galandog » Sun Jan 13, 2013 8:51 pm

My name is Dottie and I've been waiting to sell my house so I can buy an RV and begin a whole new life! Today the Realtor called and said we have a deal and plan to close on Feb.28. YIPPPEEE! I have so many racing thoughts! My dog, Grace, will be my sidekick and I will attempt to send her picture. I waited to join until I knew it was about to happen.
I'm interested in the get togethers and will be studying the site for information. Finding an RV will be a major job.
I look forward to making friends and sharing this exciting time.

Peace,
Dottie

Welcome Dottie. It'll be fun to come with you on the search for your home on wheels. And congrats on the sale of your stick and brick. Your new journey is beginning.

HOw Wonderful! I already feel like a sister to Many Remarkable Women! I am heading out full tilt today since I have a list a mile long of details to begin handling and only 45 days to do all. I will keep you all posted as time permits.
Thank you for your interest and heart!
I have my eye on Leisure Travel Van if only they weren't so pricey....maybe an old one! I do have confidence the exactly right one will appear and I will get a wash of feeling when I see it and it will be the perfect one for me. LETTING my spirit self row the boat is the better way for me I've discovered. Afterall I put forth the posssibility to the Realtor that it just could be that some single person, who just inherited some money and even WANTS to have a cat come with the house MAY happen.........and it did!
The more we let go the more we soar!
I'm off to see the........
Peace,
Dottie

Welcome dottie from Texas. Now the fun begins. Shopping for an RV is fun, fun, fun. I bought my older 1999 Roadtrek on line from www.vantasticvans.com in New Mexico and paid to have it delivered. It had 100,000 miles but I was only the second owner and it had all the maintenance records on it. I had fulltime for three years in a 30' rv and wanted to downsize. Looking forward to meeting you and seeing pictures of you, your dog and your new rig. Again, welcome.

Dottie, if you have the time (with the crunch and all) the Tampa RV show has anything you would even want to wander through. Most dealers also have used rigs listed, which are easier to jump on, when you have seen the overall quality of different product lines... :)

I love your outlook, Dottie. Can't wait to venture thru the coming days with you & someday meet you on the road. I, too, love Leisure Travel vans, pleasureways, roadtreks & chinooks. My brothers advised me not to buy anything I hadn't been in myself. One night at holy hour I wrote down the qualities I wanted/needed in a vehicle & turned it over to God - came home that night, looked at ebay & voila! my van was there. It's an older model (2004) but my daughter & I had seen it at an RV show years ago & had fallen in love with it. I don't know that I could full-time in it, a View/Navion would probably be better for that, but for what I need right now, it is perfect!! So listen to your spirit & soar!!!! :D
