Here it is, Wednesday..Morning To All.....it's gonna be a windy day..for sure here in Florida..I done battend down the hatches..(rolled up my bamboo curtains) critters ran out and did their thang and now as I look over I see them all in my bed !! Reba and Joe making a dive to go under the covers..and Abby and Zeke...well they have the area they claimed...as for me... well. looks like I get a piece of what's left over...Somethings Wrong Here.. LOL... Today I'm gonna put more steam into it..have a few things to get finished.. Making a batch of Christmas Cookies...Why you ask ???? Cause Robert and I missed out on Christmas together..Even left the Wreath up with the lights..and his present wrapped.. Hey, gotta make up for is some how.. My stove will be busy today as I do the last zoom through... Making a pot of Chili, and a pot of Gravy..(Sause to you all ) so that will give me a big jump for the rest of the week... I'll hit fall out soon, I'm sure.. now let me see...as I slide in the forum...

Soisew..(Shell) Goodness you are truly a frontier's woman.. in fact I put you in for Woman of the Year.. You are amazing.. but it shows when it comes to it..Woman can do anything they put their minds too.. Shell you certainly have a lot on your plate... Hubby not doing so good..Dad with his Illness..somedays it doesn't get easy..but you know we all here are praying for you...wish we all were close by...When I read your story..everything else is Mundane.. We keep you close and pray everything will be ok.. Sure hope that Washer is working

"Sunshine" cause you put a ray of light into all that you share with us..You certainly have paved a lot of roads and some difficult highways of life...and I'm very pleased to have met you too...and will again and again.. Echo, now can't you just visualize me in them bloomers...I told ya..can't put one foot in them costumes....LOL My bottoms would be the whole dang Flamingo wing spread ...ooooooh gawd what a site to behold... I'll put that one in the back of my mind...way back...

Retired Happy (Karen) I had to go back and look over those pictures again...Loved the Victorian house but also loved the Camel...now I could decorate that up..in fact could put that in my yard with the rest of the critters that come through... .. but that Victorian house.. I really like..oh in fact there is one I see all the time here..when I cut cross to go to Wally World... I'll have to take the picture..and boy I just love it.. my favorite spot as I drive the back road..

SeeyaGal.. (Jenny and Dave) I'd have to say..Boomerville would be the place I would like... Quartsite reminds me of a big flea market..too busy for me...but oh I could rummage through...have to have a big tote bag....thanks great shots from a distance too...have to ask..where were you standing..LOL...

I again went back and watched that ...passed it on as well... just too funny...we needed that one LOL..Good going ..you certainly did spread some smiles..in fact anytime I hear the William Tell Overture..this will come into mind ...Oh, almost like Footloose at Karaoke .

Good Morning, Barb!

I am watching school closings on the early morning news, and TONS of schools have been canceled, including Cedar's, I think! BUT...no closings in Franklin County NY as of yet! BOO HOO! The morning is still young, and maybe our officials just haven't waked up as yet! I so LOVE getting unexpected days off---it's like a gift from the snow gods! Sigh...we may well be the only school system around to have to go today. We've only had one snow day, so far, and we have a total of 3.

The snow that's coming down is VERY fine, and sort of sleety, which I think is why we should not be driving on it. Time will tell!

SUNUVAGUN! All the counties around us are closed! Ours is the only one with not a single school closed!

Oh well...guess I'd better get dressed, then, and move on out to shovel off car. Catch you all later to read about your day's activities. Thanks for the coffee, Barb, and the wrap-ups! Happy Wednesday, you all!

Running late this morning so I don't have time for hardly anything. Kelly has to be in her training class at 7am. Whew she and I are both running late. It doesn't take very much time to get there but we don't hate when we're rushed and then park and go in with no time to pump up ??? to walk in the doors. BLECH

Barbz thank you so much for having the coffee ready this morn. I've filled my travel mug and put some in my thermos. I'll grab a couple of English muffins with butter and peanut butter please!!!

I am up and moving this morning. Barb put on a crock pot of that pork and sauerkraut this morning. Hopefully will be tasty when I get home from work today. I know you are looking forward to Robert being there. Chili, oh that is some good stuff too. Now if you had one of those lemon pies things would just be puuurrrrfect. Got to get one of those pickers you can hold and pull the fruit off the limb. I know you and those thorns don't get along at all. Be careful around your rose bushes too.

YES! I got my phone call before 5:30 a.m. that our school was closed. We have an automated phone system that alerts all faculty and students. So I don't have to watch the tv. Sure hope Soosie gets a snow day too. I think it supposed to get worse as the day goes on with a possibility of 6-12 inches of new snow before Thursday afternoon. Happy Soos?

so i stayed in bed until 7:30,... had a lazy a.m. and am actually just having my first cuppa. Thanks Zeee for putting the coffee on ... tastes good.

Morning Ya'll! Barb, we are having the same weather as you. I'm getting better tho, I checked the weather online & saw it was coming. Yesterday I rolled the awning in, all by myself now thank you, and secured everything I could. So far we have wind gusts with a few rain drops, but it is looking very dreary. It's a good day to take care of some things, like bathing dogs. The hot water heater broke this trip, so I'll be heating water to bath 3 little stinky dogs today. And while I'm at it, I guess I better take myself to the bath house. I have taken the pups to the bath house before, but I think that would be too scary for my foster girl Phoenix.

I'm also gonna do some research today on which rig would best suit me. I've been looking thru old posts here, looking at the different rigs & what you all like & don't like about them. It's very helpful, especially from a women's point of view. So I'm sure I'll be popping back in with more questions!

Wish you hadn't mentioned that lemon pie! Guess I'll have to make do with a pop-tart!

Good morning everyone! I've been busy working on the newsletter for the Power Squadron (boating group). Ran into a snag though when I tried to convert it to PDF. My Adobe Acrobat Professional quit working. So I Emailed the newsletter to a friend who is going to convert it on her computer and send it back.

Sorry you didn't get your snow day Soos, I know you would've been out skiing in it if you had. Good for you, Cedar....enjoy a relaxing day.

Barbz....I'll make you a lemon pie anytime, even risk my life to pick the fresh lemons off my tree. You just let me know when you want it and I'll bring it down.
