Good morning Carol and everyone coming in after us. Thanks for starting the coffee for the rest of the girls. I don't drink it so I tend to make it too strong or too weak. Hope others after me have time to cook. My breakfast this morning is a cup of tea and 2 fig newtons. So much for that resolution to eat healthier.

Moving day for me but an easier one. Stayed last night in rv park on PA rate. Lori, went to the Bloody Bucket last night for a beer with the locals. Met some great folks: all Navy or retired Navy, or working for the Navy on the base. Might go back there Saturday for a tacking on party. This morning I'm moving across the road to the SP. As a camphost for the park system last year I rec'd a gift of a free 5 days in any park so time to move there. Will be moving early because there's a bird watching class and bird walk from 10 to 12 today and the rain has stopped and the sun is supposed to shine. All good reasons to get on over there. But just in case the dr. calls to tell me I have to go to Jax for my ultrasound today I'd better get going early. Don't want to stay here and have to pay full price.

Good morning Carolb, Vicki, and all those who follow....

Carolb, yes, it great that nothing else is jammed or broken with the fingers, but I still maybe looking at PT on the "pinkie", we'll have to wait and see...

Vickie, enjoy the class at the SP.....We attended a "tacking on" party at the Coast Guard Station, Elizabeth City, NC and few years back...they are fun ;) :) Like you there, we're suppose to have sunny skies today so things will finally dry up again....

Laundry is on my "things to do" list today....will get the Sultan to take the stuff to the laundry room in a little while...and spend most of the morning getting that done..

The coffee is tasting good this morning....got a deal at the commissary on Dunkin' Donuts coffee...2 pounds of whole coffee beans for $5.00 :o ;) nothing like grinding your own.... ;) It's ready, gals, so help yourself...

Okay, this is my 1st stop in reading posts, so better get busy seeing what's going on before I do the laundry...

Have a great day, all... :D

Good Morning Everyone, its rainy and cool here today. Past few days have been nice, so time for a change :D I'm still at my DDs. New Year saw me at the drs. hope this is not an omen for the coming year  Cold settled good in my chest, meds I have can't drive, hey, can hardly walk when they kick in   Do I have to say, any and all plans have been shifted somewhat :D I can certainly feel for Barbie, good thing I don't have a boss, no way could I do a thing. I had my flu shot too.

I can't remember when I have set in front of the tv for so long, do you know the biggest part of the shows are crap,(thats the nice word) Lucky for me, I have slept alot . :D but need it to combat the quietness of this big house :? I have the house to myself during the day and I have needed that, for my misery   I do feel much better, time meds are finished off I should be good, if not, get to go see the cute dr. again :D

So glad to see Ellen check in , missed her and her humor, don't work to hard or get to busy, we like to hear from you, Carolb, you do a great job starting our mornings off, such few words, minus some letters :D and you manage to say so much. Love your sense of humor too, and no, no priviliges of seniority here, so don't you dare set back and wait for someone else to do something you would like to. I have yet to see a person who started our day not to a good job, the important thing is to get the coffee served

I need to see if I'm up, energy wise to doing anything worth while today. I sent my rodeo GS a birthday wish, he is 24 today, I don't understand how these grands and children can be getting soooo old, when I am not old enough to be mother or gm to this bunch !!  A couple of days ago, I might have said almost old enough

Some of you mention rambling before cutting yourself off, I am the #1 rambler, so I must say have a Great day and if on the road today, watch out for the nuts out there and stay safe.

Will have my 2nd cup of coffee today, feeling much better here  :D

GOOD MORNING ALL!

Now that I have retired, I hardly ever am the first one up to make the coffee, and I love having it ready when I check in here! Thanks, Carolb-----you do such a great job with getting us up and about, and I get to catch up on what's been going on with your great summaries!

CarolynCarolina, I am so sorry to hear about your latest sickness, and I sure do hope you recover soon and completely before our GTG....no fun to be sick whilst revelries are going on!

Dark and grey and drizzling again out there this morning. I will go to my doc zapping this afternoon at about 1:00, then back here rather than heading to St. Cloud. No fun to be cooped up in the trailer in the rain....more room right here.

Hope everyone has a fun day wherever you may be!

Good morning...still feel so weak and dizzy in the mornings. Plus these anxiety attacks. Stressed about not having money coming in for the past week, not sure when I will feel good enough to start the new job, nervous about starting the new job, then the guy next door has been sending me suggestive texts. I haven't responded to any of his texts which apparently is making him mad. I just can't deal with him right now but the texts are bothering me too. Then my dad keeps thinking he has won these phoney lotteries and supposedly has someone coming to his house this morning with $50M dollars. He "just" has to give them $600 for misc fees. He told me he is going to his bank with the guy to work out the deal. I am really worried about that. If it is a scam and someone does show up, I doubt they would agree to go to the bank with him anyways. My dad talked to someone at the bank yesterday and they told him not to let anyone into his house and if he did get the guy to go to the bank, they would check it out thoroughly before agreeing to anything.
So I have WAY too much on my mind right now. I just want to cry :(

Sorry to keep venting like this, but I don't have anyone else to go to right now.
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

Got up a little earlier this morning. I am working to readjust my body to waking up at 8-9 am instead of the 10-11 I had been doing lately.

Two of my best friends are in this area vacationing, so we are going to get together. I have rented a car for a three-day weekend rate--really good deal and they will pick me up this afternoon. Will return it Monday afternoon. This will enable me to drive to the beach more easily and do some sightseeing in the Fort Myers area.

Got some housekeeping to do today. I want to scrub out the utility compartment underneath and the one next to it. Both are unnecessarily dirty, and I just feel better to get them cleaner. (Note "cleaner" as they will never be completely clean!)

Need to vacuum so I can put pad underneath my rug under my recliner. If I get up the energy, I will also wash my outside windows. (OK, maybe this is too ambitious.)

Barbie, so sorry everything seems to be hitting you at one time. Its all so much worse when we are ill too. Did you let one of your brothers know of this scam, your Dad is involved in? Hey, hand out some of the worries where you can. As far as the Bill thing and emails he is sending, knowing you are sick, sorry honey, he isn't worth your thoughts. Write him off, don't read just delete the crap he is sending and don't respond. You don't really matter, what he wants is all he is thinking of and you don't need a friend of any sort like that.

You matter to us, try to not dwell on to much crap, Take care of You !!!

Good morning all. I missed a few days and it takes a while to catch up. I won't even try to recap everything, but wishing a speedy recovery and healing to those ill and/or injured. Congrats on upcoming nuptials and welcome back to those that took a break from the forum for a while. Welcome home to those that just returned and safe travels to those getting ready to go. I am busy trying to get the house pulled together, put away all the Christmas stuff and get the 5ver ready to leave next week. It just snowed along the I10 from Las Cruces, NM to San Antonio, TX. I sure hope that holds off while we are trying to drive west. This will be our first trip lasting longer than a long weekend and a bit more intimidating in preparing!! But am excited to go, explore and meet people along the way. Getting a hot spot added to my phone so DH and I will be able to use our iPads along the way. We'll see how well it works and what coverage Sprint has along I10 :P Trying (again) to get the portable wingard satelite dish connected with Direct TV. Everyone stay warm and keep safe. Aloha, y'all

Looks like it's going to be another gray day. I'm ready for it to warm up some. I see it's raining in East Texas so that will probably be heading our way. Was thinking about going to Lafayette but might wait until tomorrow when my shopping friend will be off. We usually make it to town when she is off.

Yesterday I did a cleaning cycle on the coffee maker with vinegar and water. My DH made coffee this morning and he must not have rinsed the pot out because the coffee has a slight off taste. He usually makes coffee so early that the pot has shut off by the time I get up. He isn't feeling well. Has been having a cold or sinus problem for a week and now it's in his chest. Sounds like what CArol has. He wants to go show me how to feed the horse because he is afraid she will run over me. I have know this horse since the day she was born. He is so worried that I will get hurt and he can't get out of his own way.

When my son and I went to Florida he got us in the rv park at the Mayport Naval Base. A very nice campground. It's right on the St John River and within walking distance of the beach.

I found the mfg and a number for the floor tile in the kitchen and dining room. I can find it on the internet but so hard to tell which color it is. I want to take the carpet out of the living room and put the same tile if I can find it. I didn't want carpet to begin with and carpet and cats don't go together. That and we live in the country. So hard to keep carpet clean.

Barbie, sorry you are having to deal with so much. Be sure and let your brother know what your dad is doing. The BBB is on TV every week talking about these sweepstakes scams. They tell people to not talk to them at all. If you even talk to them they put you on their list as a possible mark. Does your dad have caller ID? Try to get him to get one that he can see and not answer any calls that he doesn't recognize. We let calls we don't know go to the answer machine. Doesn't stop them calling but hope it pisses them off.

What the others have said Barbie, if someone comes to his house he should call 911 and let them catch one of these criminals that prey on older people. Some are talked out of their life savings by these crooks.
I hope you and Carol and anyone else who has the virus going around feel better soon but it seems everyone who has this chest/sinus thing are total wiped out and it takes awhile to get you get your strength back. Seems like one day you feel good for awhile then all of a sudden you feel you need to rest. Take it as easy as you can.

I had a call from the shop that is working on Elsie, ack it is one thing after another. I posted about the latest issue and asked for advise in the maintenance/tech section. Hint, hint all suggestions appreciated!

Sun is supposed to be out but so far haven't seen any sign of a bright light in the sky :)

good morning ladies, well my two weeks off is winding down and school starts back on Monday. I'm gonna suffer cause I've been sleeping in and staying up late.
The girls will suffer too until we all get our schedules back in order. I'm thinking about taking a drive out to my rv today, if not today, tomorrow to get all
the measurements (again) for what I need for the remodel. Will also include the length for my deck I'll build so it clears any pertinent doors for
such things as propane bottles or battery door. I'd like to at least make it the length of my awning. Once I get my rv set back up it will be permanent for awhile or until I sell it. I'll get a small class c to do my travels in. But getting the class c is a ways down the road still, probably a couple years.
Its been cold here for Arizona standards and windy so I've spent a good deal of my time bagging up stuff for the goodwill. Stopped by Johanns fabric yesterday to get one more skein of yarn since I was in the neighborhood, surprise and no surprise, they are going out of business and most of their stuff is gone already.
Hobby Lobby recently opened a store in the same shopping center, just down from Michaels, also in the same shopping center. Hobby Lobby didn't have very much yarn either so I've decided to continue to get my yarn at Walmart. Not that I need to buy any yarn cause I've got tubs of it in the storage compartment but just sayin.
Haven't been to the store yet either for my two weeks supply of necessary grocery stuff for the girls and myself. Will definitely have to do that today or the
girls will starve come dinnertime. My little refrigerator quit the other day and son swapped it out with another little one thats even a tad bigger and has a
little freezer part in it. Think the little freezer will hold 3 entries.
Its about time to get my bath so I can get dressed and get all this stuff done. Only have today and tomorrow to get it done cause Sunday I've reserved for
a little sloth time in my life. (you know, lazy) :o  :P
Thanks for the coffee, ya'll have a great day, be safe and be warm. For those that are sick, get well soon, the world needs you. :P
