Merry Christmas to you and Bill too. I love the idea of the glowing balloons. That house was beautiful, did you get to go inside?
I hope Bill feels better soon. That is amazing, $20.00 for the doctor AND the medicine. Probably would have cost $200. in the US, oh no it was Sunday would have been more!

MERRY CHRISTMAS CAROL AND BILL!

I love your new pics----it's so pretty where you are. Hoping Bill is feeling better today----tell him to avoid eating raw things, if he tends to do that!

Merry Christmas Carol and Bill. And, Carol, you are allowed a day to feel sorry for yourself. We all need them occasionally.

I always enjoy your blog even though i do not always comment. Just wanted you to know I saw those same birds with the orange beaks on the beach in Sarasota, FL, the other day. It took a lot of searching, but they are called "elegant terns". http://birds.audubon.org/species/eleter

I'm trying to identify as many of the birds I find as I can this winter, so I had to look this one up after I took some photos.

Funny because I had almost an identical photo as yours!

Merry Christmas Carol and Bill. Hope Bill feels better soon and you get over the blues even more quickly. I've never heard of making rice water ...wonder how that helps?
