Spent the day with my sister and we bought one more important camping item . . . a small convection oven. Now, we can make bisquits and cornbread and all that other stuff I couldn't pull off in the microwave. Our trailer is so small, I'll either have to store this in the shower or keep it in the van until needed. I'm hoping someone can show me how to make Southern style buttermilk cornbread while at we're at the GTG.

Hi all! A qwiet Cmas eve, so I have time to think of the GTG! Now, when anyone has time, can we talk wardrobe??? I've never been to FL in the winter, so I'm open to s-ggestions. Anything like AZ winters? I know what those are like....May start packing some since I have the week off school...WOW, can't believe I'll be driving soth in jst a few weeks!!!!! Even better, meeting y'all that'll be there!!!! Gosh, almost nervo-s abot it!!! AM I REALLY DOING THIS????

Carolb...the wardrobe is according to what FL decides to dish out weather wise. We had snow showers one year and we all wore as many layers as we could find.....or the weather could decide to shower us with sunshine and warmth. (That year I had to stop at Walmart and buy additional tank tops. Come prepared for all the possibilities. The nice part of hanging out with RV'ers though...is when you wear the same two sweatshirts over and over.... no one questions your fashion sense.

PJ fashions only if you want to no peer pressure. Something about warm and comfortable all day long...... (My Alaska Moose PJs are ready.....)

I have George's "Party Pants" (PJ bottoms)...wish I was going to be there. You guys could have a Fashion Show, with photos and prizes, and a Best Pants of FL GTG 2013 Trophy. Hey... ? ?

Be prepared. A few members with nice warm fleece pj bottoms started this fashion trend. Walmart is a good place to find them if you need a pair (check mens department as well as womens).
