My Darling Savannah is sick.

don't know who it's the hardest on when its a baby that is sick the baby or the adults around???
Always hated it when the kids where sick especially when babies and they could tell you what hurt where
so glad that you went to the drs and that they are on top of it..take care and try not to get sick as well

Today has been a rough day on mama, dad, and Savannah. She has been really cross, crying, coughing. Now, to make matters worse, she has developed a terrible diaper rash. Not a happy camper, but still smiling big for Nana whenever I talk to her. Can I tell you ladies that I literally cried with love for this little darling gift from God. She is absolutely precious and I can't wait to post some pictures of her. It seems I have been waiting all of my adult life for something like her to come along.
Keep the prayers coming, because we have got to get her well so her Nana can love and kiss and hold on her.

My daughter is very troubled by antibiotics and developed many conditions down below....try yogurt to eat. That is what will help along with corn starch down below...yes the stuff you make with gravy. My daughter has to do this with her son and he is almost 2 years old - it works every time.

Yes, all the antibiotics kill the natural flora and fauna of the intestines and that rash is the result. Yogurt works or other foods with probiotics. Corn starch really helps as well.

Much better late last night. Still sleeping today, but seeming to get better.
Oh and last night she decided it was time to crawl across the floor on her knees, not belly flopping. Guess who she crawled to??? ME

Her personality is coming out more each day. Forgot that a 9 month old has a temper. Woowee her mama and dad have their work cut out for them.
I get to experience one great advantage to being a Nana. " Here mama, she wants you."
Wouldn't give anything for those little full grins I get when she looks at me, and my FIRST full on double arms around the neck hug I got last night. My dang heart melted.

Hush Sharon, didn't want everyone to figure out what a marshmallow I am where it concerns her. I am having so much fun with her, she jabbers at me, and I jabber right back at her, she grins ear to ear and giggles outloud. She has a silly Nana. I can't tell you how much I ABSOLUTELY LOVE HER.
