Tuesday by Golly, we made it..Morning All it's a tad Foggy here..well that's what my weather bug says..and of course I done checked it out too..yeppers..Joe has us up early and I thought..is it me or is it Memorex...LOL Nope it's the way it is today...Now, as for the rest of the day..I can tell ya..the sun is shining brightly..Lots of great Sista's joining in and a few good Politicians too..now I'm not gonna say their names..cause if you Scan our Forum you'll figure that out...Sista's I can say this.."iffn' you were to decide to run for office, You'd surely get my vote " Cause you've got Integrity and Personality...uh oh..sounds like a tune to me...LOL but a good one..Thank YOU..

Micki..I had a Muriel done years ago on one of my rigs..lots of people I know do some of their art work on it too...at the dog shows where you go..you'll find people that have done that... but I also had my decals replaced too...went to one of my brothers ..he has a large body shop.. famous for restoring "Special Cars"..he re did mine it was awesome...should think maybe..about redoing the ones on my Adventurer...mmmmm food for thought..ok Sista's check that one out too...

Ok, speaking or running..it's to the kitchen..I'm in need a huge cup this morning..aaaaah I smell the aroma...it's calling my name Zeeeeeeee...looked over and checked out my critters..they is all under cover..litterally...Reba and Joe that is..Abby and the Big Bad Wolf..Zeke..they is right by my feet..each one has a foot..well maybe a leg..LOL nah... they is along side my chair...Might have to ask them to move...can't get up..LOL HELP..

Well table is set..and I'm now hungry too..I have some left over Apple Strudel..oooooh and I am gonna whip up some Apple Pockets and put some cherry filling in some too..have a friend coming in for Brunch..and they are so easy to make..try them..you'll like them.. check out Recipes..

Ok, Sista's your places are now set..chairs are empty so come one come all...Coffee pot is perking Tea kettle is Whistling and iffn' it's cool drink for morning so be it... got that too....

Good Morning Barb, and All!

It's so much fun to get a rundown of everything when I come for coffee at Barb's! I sure do know how disappointing it is to lose an entire message that you've composed, too, and ZAP! Off it goes into cyberland!!! I have discovered that it usually happens to me when I forget and try to edit my message on the preview screen rather than on my edit area. I get impaitent and forget, and when you try to get your cursor on the preview screen to correct a typo or spelling error, ALL GONE!

Anyway....thanks for the coffee and the updates on all. Driving to school was horrendous yesterday, but today looks to be fine out there. yesterday was freezing rain over iced roads......cars off everywhere. I nearly turned around.

Here's hoping you all have a wonderful day, and I will check back after school to see who's been doing what!

Goooood Morning Sistahs!!!!

YAWN!!! Oh goodness I'm tired. 7hrs of sleep and think I would like a few more. Got to get out the door early this morning. They have put Kelly into a different project. For the next two weeks she has to go to training classed to do BOA mortgage. They start at 7am and get done at 3:15pm, her work hours will be 8 - 5 everyday and no weekends. Now she loves the work hours but it sure does screw up things. I will have an hour to twiddle my thumbs in the morning for the next 2wks and of course they are again doing all the mandatory overtime. So that means that "I" wont get out of work until 7pm, work 4hrs on my Fridays off and 8hrs on my weekends off. They have said that she can still put in some extra hours back over in collections while waiting for me to get done for the day. Oh Joy!!!

Weather here is rainy. Suppose to rain all week with the temps today and tomorrow high 40's. I'm waiting cause I know the crappy weather is just waiting to slam us.

Ok, just a quick one this morn I really need to get my but in gear. Get dressed, coffee poured in the thermos, hair & teeth brushed and out the door.

is it friday yet? I want it to be
went to bed early, slept good and I'm still not really awake yet, need more coffee.
Daughter called last evening from Atlanta Georgia, she must be ready to come home.
She says the weather is weird their, all humid and nice in the day but freezing cold
at night. Us desert rats are not used to humidity so it always feels weird. But she
says the state is beautiful, wooded and curvy roads. She of course talked and asked
about her furbabies, and she actually talked like she was homesick after just a week.
Could it be she is partied out after all these years? hmmmm
The forum has certainly been a busy place lately and I'm totally enjoying all the
reading I get to do, and it gives me dreams of places to go, things to do, etc. Thats
certainly a good thing in my book. Don't think a person can have too many dreams,
sometimes it what gets us up in the morning.
Ok, need to check out a few posts and make a cc payment and get ready for my day.

Today I've volunteered to sit at church to wait on a delivery of file cabinets. They give ya a big window...sometime between 9 am and 5 pm . So I'll use the time to start going through old files to be refiled in the new cabinets and a little cleaning which we ladies take turns doing. (Small 1890's church)

So, I'll miss you, but hope you all have a safe and happy day.

Morning! Thanks for the recap Barb. You reminded me of a few post I meant to check out. We are moving kinda slow this morning. I am still working on my first cuppa Joe, & the girls are still snuggled down in their blankies. It is nice & quiet, for the moment. It is very warm so I have the window open listening to the surf. I so love the beach. Weatherman called for rain this morning but looks like he missed it again. Beautiful sunshine.

Ava, I've lived in the south most of my life so I don't notice the humidity til it's like 98% in the summer. But your daughter is right, we warm up during the day & cool down quick at night. I don't envy her being in the ATL. It is a beautiful place, but way too busy for me.

We spent a fun time on the beach yesterday, I think I'll post some pics of our day. Today we are going for a long bike ride. All 3 pups are going in the bike cart. That's always worth a pic or 2.

I'm trying to update my profile. I did get my state & web link on it. I've been looking thru pics, but I don't have many of myself. I'm usually the one taking the pics! But we'll see. I may have to put RV & pups pics in my siggy for now.

Since about last Thursday or Friday things here have been busy. Our menfolk here on the farm are out of commission. My hubby strained his back so has been in pain for days. Wedneday he has a chiropractor appt. to put his bone back where they oughta be.

And my Dad's illness he had back in November is back, a bad urinary tract infection. I think then he had the flu with it so was really sick and it took him almost 2 weeks to feel better. My sister said to be sure when he sees the doc today to have them check for staph. He is really weak, running a lowgrade fever, doesn't want to eat or drink etc, is overall not really doing as much as he needs to. You may know how some guys are...Who knows the doc may put him in the hospital for IV fluids and antibiotics. He's a stubborn dude but ever since his prostrate surgery 10 years ago then having to have radiation in 2000 he's never regained bladder control. He's had several bladder infections because he doesn't want to drink because it causes more leakage and that ain't fun at all but then he's not flushed out well so...the obvious happens! And he has kidney stones now and then so I know aging and all this is just so depressing.

So, with the menfolks down -- Mom & I are doing the cattle feeding, mostly me. It's not a big deal and I told them I can do it all by myself if needs be. It's gone well. I've been out with Dad doing it since October so I'm well toned and into the routine. I'll be out earlier this AM so we can get Dad ready for his doc appt. this morning in town.

Yesterday I tore apart Mom's washer and diagnosed it's leaky issue. We did a silicone seal job on the area leaking and if that doesn't work I'll have to take out the inner tub basket and find a way to plug the leaky conneciton where the bleach dispenser goes in. The washer is old and in a couple of months Mom is taking her sister's washer/dryer pair so we only gotta keep this thing going for a little while longer. Luckily her washer is on a concrete floor so the water has not really been a serious issue, just wet!

For that leaky reason..I've decided as I design our new house I'm putting a concrete slab across the front of our house to be under the foyer, 2 baths, the mud room and the laundry area. I can't see having to worry about leaky situations or tracked in snow & mud! The rest of the house can be on wood with either plain wood floors or laminate. I'm not putting in wall to wall carpet again. Out here in the country where all we have to walk on is dirt -- carpet in a house is the worst thing we can do! We'll have some area rugs though and lots of dirt catchers but I'm not into all that vacuuming and shampooing we have to do. Carpet is so unhealthy. When we tore out the carpet in our house in NC the house smelled so much nicer and what we found under the carpet would turn your stomache. Despite the fact I vacuumed a couple times per week -- we had a deep layer of dirt under the carpet even in the rooms we didn't used often!

On another note -- humidity was mentioned. I have to agree unless you were born in it you just can't get used to it. I lived in the south for 20 years and finally reached the point as I aged and found hot flashes...I had to get outa there. I could not go outside in the summer and winter felt colder than here!

We've had nice balmy weather -- in the low 30's and as the week goes on we'll get up to about 50. In our dry on a sunny day with no wind (sometimes a rare occasion) it feels very nice outside at 40. We don't wear a heavy coat and don't need the fuzzy floppy eared hat.

So, time is ticking away so I'd better end my 15 minutes on the computer and get busy.

Another rainy day in TX, so I stayed in bed, dreaming of RVs, seriously! Now I need coffee to wake up. And some of all that energy that's going into washing and waxing rigs.

Still raining, so more closet cleaning etc. today. Finding nice surprises Some things I had forgotten I had, but others, I don't even remember ever having.(thats gets a little worrisome). Have a load of laundry also must do.

Need to get on and read about some of this stuff, Barbzeee, had in her recap. Doesn't take long to get behind in all the news here. I was going to be good and not be on the computer long this morning. Now I'm nosey, so off I go to find out more .

Rainy, drizzly, cold here - which I wanted to complain about this morning as I got up and ready for work. Peaches wouldn't listen lol. Thought about it and as much as it just felt like a day to stay in bed, I'd really rather have this weather on my work days. Thursday and Friday are supposed to be glorious - and that's important - as we're going to the Aquarium on Thursday and wanted good weather for that. Then Sparkle and I will make our final trek for this batch of dentist appts to Mexico on Friday. Wonder what we can buy lol - I know I'll be getting more of the Bailey's Chocolate Mint, that is yummy good!

Shell, you have a lot on your plate. If you ever need an ear - or a shoulder - feel free to contact me. You are one heck of a woman - I'm so impressed by all you have going on - but it's not easy when those around you are sick and things quit working - and it all seems to be falling on you. Good luck - and if just talking about it in here helps - you just talk away - but if you want or need another ear - mine is availabe - as I'm sure are many others!

So nice to see so many at my kitchen table... aaaah it feels good too... nothing could be finer..!! Just got a little update and a little clarification...

Cedar... If I offended you by calling you the "Cheerleader" of the group... it was because of my understanding of the word..."a person who enthusiastically promotes or supports a cause." such is what we are....In fact I have always felt that you were Loyal, Supportive, Morale Booster..and always, always willing to help in anyway you could with this forum... Now, if that in any way caused you to think differently.. I stand corrected...As I do try to do my best in recap and I know I have some cute nicknames for some..only cause I've gotten to feel them a little more..and know they know my jesture..

As for Girly, girl.. I am far from that too ..maybe in my younger days..like teens..LOL but sure as heck not..don't even think I could fit one leg in that costume..but I do have the Pom Poms...

So on with the next agenda...mmmmmmmm let me see..Oh, I will be Missing in Action as of this Friday..Hubby is coming in town..and I've got lots of jobs for that man to do...He'll play golf of course..but the rest of the time is mine...Crack that whip, Tote that Bale..Now he might get a little Tipsy from all that work and my Ice Teas...LOL...

So I'll be leaving the Morning Coffee up to all of you..and I know you'll all enjoy it too...as you all do such a great job.. So with that I'm back to the drawing board.. I've entered a few contests in hopes that I'll even place as that will win me some neat tubes (what we call that has artist's drawings with permission) as they add up in bucks when you buy them..Scrap kits and all those goodies..and even the last plugin I bought..ouch don't wanna see my AMEX bill...
