Falling Stars and a Lump in my throat

Postby HorizonSeeker » Thu Dec 13, 2012 8:07 pm

Hey ladies, don't miss the geminid showers tonight after 9pm. There's no moon so the show should be good. I will try to go out in a bit and see some but need to get some rest too.

I have made it to Hohenwald and spent the afternoon with the grands but didn't even unhook the car. Will go to bed soon and head out early in the morning. My big brother called late last night to tell me that his wife, who is the only sister I've ever had, is back in congestive heart failure. Yes, he and his wife are the ones expecting their first grandchild this weekend. She is at UGA medical center and the baby will be born about 10 miles away. Needless to say it is a very emotional holiday for us this year. Will keep you all posted. Nice that I can just hook up and head there to be by his side and do whatever needs to be done.

((((((((((((((((Hugs)))))))))))))) So sorry to read this, prayers for your family and safe travels for you. Such a terrible situation, and always so much worse this time of year. A new life is wonderful, but an older life not well, is hard to deal with.

Prayers for all

Your joy with new grandchild coming is now clouded with sorrow. May God Speed your 'sister's' healing. She will soon be holding this new gift from heaven...
