Notorious Nineteen

I just opened an email from the library, and they're holding Evanovich's newest book for me! I don't dare pick it up until Friday -- but I'm sure expecting a weekend full of laughter. :D

None of her later books had the zip and zing of the first five or six, but I admit that I did actually laugh out loud in one or two spots.

I agree with you -- the earlier books were certainly better. It might have something to do with the constant surprise, while now the basic situation is quite static. Still, there should be some chuckles.

Hey, did you enjoy Chet & Bernie for airplane reading?

Read 19 first. I've read the first Chet and Bernie and it was pretty good. Poor Chet - almost not saved in time.
