Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Good morning! :D Hope y'all are waking to a good day. Finished reading posts from yesterday--missed ya! Glad to hear all the "lazy day" news & even the "m-ndane" as someone called it. That's the story of my life--"m-ndane"! I was a bit down yesterday thinking of that. Oh well, it's certainly the "holiday 'blews'" & the nearing "foll" moon. Gets me thinking that I need to give consideration to going "f-lltime" on the road! Thanks for the "Lincoln" review! I'm excited to see it, as I lived in Spfld IL for 22 years, immersed in Lincoln history! ...We've had snow showers for the past two days; so pretty falling lightly & not amownting to anything. Okay, going for more coffee & pie for breakfast! Have a great day & be safe, always!! :P

Good morning everyone!

Lori, happy anniversary to you & Ernie! I hope you find something special to do today and I'm sure you'll find a nice place for your dinner. Enjoy!

We're off to a chilly day here on the eastern shore of MD. It's 35 right now and we might break 50 later on. I've been to my friends house to let the dogs out and feed everyone. There's a workout on my agenda for later this morning and then back to check on the animals. My friends will be back tonight, so until their next trip, my house sitting job is almost done.

Tomorrow I'm going to spend the day & night with my parents. They seem to enjoy having me there and there's always something that needs doing that they can't do anymore.

I am really enjoying reading everyone's posts, blogs and looking at the pictures posted here. Enjoy your day everyone!

Good Morning all,

Yep, a bit of holiday "blews" here too after my friends left on Thursday afternoon to continue north to WI. But now it's time to get back into the swing of things again. Trip to vet office for some Proin for Sassy, gym morning, run to Pet store for canned food etc. Am still trying to entice Ms Tessa to eat, but she is totally turned off dry food and with her kidney disease and being on meds, that's probably a good thing as dry food isn't too good for kidney diseased dogs. So am thinking I may start making her food instead. Need to find some good recipes out there for dogs with kidney disease. Been searching but haven't found anything yet. Some sites want you to register and I won't do that. Not interested in being bombarded with their ads etc. Need to make sure I find something with good protein and how much I need to give plus supplements like calcium and vitamins etc. Fixed her some egg, turkey and sweet potato this morning, but noticed she passed on the sweet potato  She will eat wet food, but not sure it total wet food is good idea. Will check on that this morning at vet's office.

Lori and Ernie, congratulations on your Anniversary. Hope you have a great day celebrating and enjoy your "special" dinner.

Well, now that Thanksgiving is over, I don't have any other holiday plans. Nobody to buy for, so no shopping to do. Will be heading north in another week and a half, so am preparing for that now. Putting stuff out as I think of it. Like heading out on the RV trip, need to plan, get stuff together, par down and pack it. Then hit the road.

Winter has arrived here at the 45th too. About 3 inches of snow or so out there and a cold week ahead. Don't know if it will stay or not. Temps heading into 40's by beginning of next week. After a record breaking day on Thanksgiving Day, 62 here, that cold front came sailing through and wham, in less than 24 hours, some areas up here got up to 15 inches of "lake effect" snow  Talk about abrupt change. But that's Michigan and the Great Lakes for you.

Off to do some research here and then will be getting ready to head out for the morning. Hope you all have a wonderful day. Enjoy it. If you are on the road, travel safe.

Happy anniversary Lori and Earnie. Have a wonderful day and dinner.

Carolb, so sorry you have been feeling blue. Seems like that can definitely be one of the after effects of the holidays. I hope the coming days are better for you.

As usual, everyone here is still asleep. I am the only early riser. That's really OK with me. Gives me some quiet time to start my day. I am listening to Luke softly snoring. It is a comforting sound. He has snored like that since he was a puppy. Chuck and I used to laugh that he snored because we did. When he was the "only dog"' his pillow was right between Chucks's and mine. He slept with his head on the pillow and his body under the covers just like we did. Now he and Rascal just sprawl out whereever on the bed they want and Belle sleeps under the covers beside me.

We are all planning a trip to Walmart today. Mom and Paul have a few things they need. I just need dog food and dog treats. Mom has to call and set up her appointment for bloodwork tomorrow. When we know what time that will be, I can schedule the vet appointments.

I hear Mom getting up, so I will wake the dogs up and get them all outside. My quiet time is about to end.

Hope everyone has a great day and if you are traveling, stay safe.

Good morning all. Happy Anniversary Lori and Erni. Have a great day and celebrate. I went walking and geocaching with Tyler yesterday. I finally found the one I have been looking for!! three tries. Boosted my confidence. Will go again today. I have to get this body moving. I love hiking, kayaking, etc. but since I moved here I've become a slug. The less I do, the harder it is to get moving. And I want to be able to hike and explore when we are on the road. DH rides a mobility cart, but I'm hoofing it!!! Hope you all have a great day and stay safe if you're on the road.

Good Morning !! Happy Anniversary Lori and Ernie !!! Sun is not out this morning, not sure weather wise what to expect today. Maggie and I, are deciding whether to move on or what :D Oh such a big decision  I have not enjoyed a time of such freedom in ages, it's wonderful ! Maggie loves this park so many neat smells and walking places. I say walk not hike, because neither of us are up to anything you could call a hike yet :D

Yesterday flew by, not sure what this one holds yet, but wanted to wish you all a good day. So sorry to hear the Blues hit any of you. It happens though and just have to make it through to the next day which hopefully is a nice one for you all.
That is the very reason I run away from home for all the holidays, I knew It would not be good for me to stay alone in all my memories. Still have times I get a flash of wishing things were different, but in a crowd you can direct those thoughts elsewhere quick. After 12 yrs most of the time I thoroughly enjoy myself. Wishing this for all of you one day.

Maggie says she'd like out now, the puppy next door must be out :) I need more coffee, that may have to wait :)
Have a great day, those traveling, please stay safe,

CArol :)

Morning - back to work for me today. So much fun!!! NOT!

Happy Anniversary, Lori and Ernie!

I need to figure out my budget for this trip and see if doing a shorter trip and flying into Phoenix makes more sense if I'm going solo. I don't think it will because hotel costs would probably eat me alive, that plus the rental car. It will take me 3 days minimum to get to AZ and 3 days to get back, so that leaves me 9 days in AZ if I drive.

Got me some figgerin to do.

What's the price of gas in AZ right now on average?

(Can you tell I really don't want to work today?)

Happy Anniversary, Lori and Ernie!

Sorry to hear the blues are already hitting some of you. I have been getting irked at a few things going on around here, but hadn't stopped to think that it is that time of year when I get moody. However, for me it may just be other people in my space when I don't want them there. I get a day planned, I like to get on with it. That said, I shouldn't complain about friends trying to help or wanting to visit. Just no pleasing me!

We are off on a long desert ride today - will trailer the quads to the starting point. The Hovater Cactus Garden I have been to only once.

Everyone have a great day - I'm off to get ready.

Maggie, we were posting at the same time - GasBuddy says 3.45-3.53 for premium in Phoenix right now. I have GasBuddy app on my smart phone, but I think you can find them online as well.

Happy Anniversary Lori and Ernie - enjoy your day.
We'll soon be on the road again. Heading to Mazatlan - it is hot there too but at least the AC will work. I've managed to catch a cold and the heat was making me cranky.
A little bit of snow sounds good to me right now!
Over 300 mile trip today - makes for a long day even on the toll roads. Cause there's always animals and going through small towns and topes to make it exciting.
Stay warm and travel safe.
