Small journeys

Postby BirdbyBird » Sun Nov 25, 2012 1:13 pm

This is a catch up blog. The sun has decided to shine again today. But since it was all of 28 degrees this morning, I am thinking of future posts to come as we head off towards FL and warmer weather because Ohio seems to have only a limited number of sunshine days it is allowed from now until mid March..... :)

Great walk in the woods with the fur babies. I would not be able to walk away from those pups. I miss my Dustin, an Eng Cocker so much..... Thanks for sharing.

Tried to post to your blog, but it got lost. Loved all the small journeys but especially liked the way you paired the black and white photos with color in the woods. I think Roe was out there sniffing around with Herschel because that comment brought tears to my eyes.

What a fine journey that was, Tina----thank you so much.

Like Liz, I, too, wept at the thought of Herschel and Roe romping together in the great somewhere, along with all the other furry souls we have loved and lost over the years. Beautiful photography when you remember our camera!

When and where are you headed to in Florida? I am on my was to Anastasia State Park on Wednesday for a week there, and then will spend a week at Disney World. There seem to be several of us heading that way.

Judy, we are sitting in Ohio dreaming about Florida. Still have legal stuff to deal with regarding my stepmothers estate, etc. We have reservations or the fl gtg but are really hoping to be able to head south way before then. For now we wait with the jello to form and try to be useful.

I loved the pictures of your small adventures. I haven't been brave enough to walk Luke and Rascal off leash yet. Before we got on the road, they were never on leash and had the run of their acres. I am terrified of losing them in an area they don't know. The puppies were so cute!

I am a hop, skip, and a jump from Disney World! Let me know when and where you will be here, and I will plan to meet up with you. Will you be camping somewhere? I am 5 minutes from Sea world at this Orlando house-----right off Central Florida Parkway. Woould be fun to meet you!
