Happy Thanksgiving everybody. It's a beautiful day, supposed to turn a lot colder Sat. Mr. Turkey is in the oven, and I have a candle going that smells just like a pie! You all have a great day celebrating in your own way! Wendy

Happy Thanksgiving!

I have just about finished my coffee, will get dressed and move the camper over to the other side of the site where the 5er sat - the 5er left yesterday afternoon! What a relief to know that is done.

Then I will bake a frozen pumpkin pie for the potluck - took the easy way out. We pay a little and the park cooks turkey, stuffing, potatoes, etc.

Sorry about the dogs getting so many of you up, but that is one of the reasons I don't have one - having my sleep interrupted makes me real cranky

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone.

I actually did a post earlier but Anita did at the same time and mine disappeared. I feel for all of you with the early rising dogs. Sammie does not get me up. She stays on the bed for at least another hour after I get up. As a matter of fact when I get up she looks at me "what are you doing up so early". It's usually about 7:30 or 8:00 when I get up.

I will not be preparing a turkey today. I have never done one completely on my own. My late husband and I used to do it together. He was the cook in our home. He has been gone for 10 years and I have finally started being a little creative in my cooking.

Everyone have a great day today.

Mornin'!

Parked at my aunt/cousin's place- several acres. Woke the dogs up and we took them for an offleash jaunt this morning in the crisp air. Now hubby is working from home (IT guy) and I'm putting around and looking forward to taking my aunt shopping- it's been a very long time since we've spent time together. They do their Turkey Day on Friday...and so I'll help her do whatever today... Invited the grandbaby and her momma, we'll see what happens.

Good eatin's everyone!

Here's wishing a very Happy Thanksgiving for all the forum sister's and their families.

Thanksgiving is a day of reflection for me - when I truly do (silently) give thanks for all my many blessings. Here I'll give thanks vocally for all the wonderful forum friends - both that I've met, that I hope to meet, that I may never meet except for here - all are exceptional and I give thanks for each of you.

And unlike many of you, Peaches did not get me up early barking. We slept in, thank you very much, Peaches! And she is now sleeping again - I do admit I wish I could lie down, shut my eyes, and go to sleep like dogs (and most animals) do. Lesson to attempt to learn!

I will go over to the big Thanksgiving dinner here today - taking a broccoli casserole - but for the most part will spend the day home relaxing. Time to start putting that casserole together -

It's way past morning here but I did want to jump in and say HAPPY THANKSGIVING to all my Sistahs!!!

Kelly and I had our turkey dinner last night and boy did we end up stuffed. She has to work today and I am going to the pot luck at the rec-room in a few minutes. Baked a green bean casserole for it and I sure hope it tastes as good as it looks!!!

Hope you all have a wonderful day!

Love to all

Happy turkey day everyone. My dogs do not get me up; the cats do. One of them walks across me when he thinks I should be getting them breakfast.

Congratulations, Ava, on your almost debt-free status. Now that is truly something to be proud of and thankful for. You have worked so hard to accomplish it.
