Today has been a really tough day. Finally decided I just needed some alone time.

What a pretty place you are at! Holidays are the worst, but you will get through them. Time for yourself and your thoughts is so important. The saying is that God won't give you more than you can handle, but there are days we wonder! Hang in there!

can understand rough days...the positive being in Q is I'm around friends but friends that they are they are winter friends
and so hadn't had a chance to offer condolences and that has been hard to take...been a bit down as well

Sheila, that is what everyone tells me too. How hard for you to go through all the condolences again now that you are back in Q. You are in my prayers and thoughts. Wish I could be there to give you a hug.

Dawn - I'm sure you also haven't had a whole lot of alone time that you could get before going fulltime. You almost always have Mom around (except when she's mad at you and living with Paul) and there aren't a whole lot of places inside you can really go to be alone. SO I imagine that just getting out by yourself probably helps your sanity.

Amen! Since you have met Mom, you know she can be really high maintenance. She is hardly ever quiet too. I am not used to that. Chuck and I were fairly quiet people and am not used to constant sounds coming from her in one way or another. When she gets quiet, I know she is asleep. But then she starts to snore.
