Thank you all so much....Growing up in a cash strapped family we never really celebrated birthdays....now at my age I try to make birthday special for my family...especially on their 16th birthday (Grandkids)....course I never forget my kids either, even though they're getting old.....(at 75 & fairly healthy), I feel pretty young....but it warms my heart that anyone remembers me on my day... My daughter who passed away recently always left a card on the kitchen table so that first thing in the AM that is what I'd see....she lived with me for many years so it was hard this AM to come downstairs & see that there was no card...Anyhow, thinking positive, thoughts today or at least trying hard to....My youngest daughter sent a birthday present (she lives in Palos Verdes which is south of L.A.) which I just opened....It's a corduroy flannel lined shirt in a deep blue from LL Bean.....(I'm cold when Fall comes around)...anyhow...I love it...so today is just fine....new shirt, nice birthday wishes...who could ask for more......... :D
