Judy,
So glad that your rapairs have worked out good for you. The fact that ours didn't have the same outcome is the reason my husband will never buy another Fleetwood product :twisted: . Great that you are so happy. Of course, I would have been happy with what they have done too. :lol:

Not counting the parts, I had a full-time service technician work on my vehicle 9 hours the first day and 8 hours the second day. Plus there were a couple of others who maybe spent an additional 7 hours.

This means 25 hours of work at the rate of about $140 per hour or a total of $3,500. I am sure the steps alone had to have been maybe $500-$700. Most of the other parts were small things like latches, but this whole thing had to have cost them at least $4,000.

Now consider that there were only two Class C motorhomes, and the other 10+ were big diesel Class As with a starting price of $250,000 each--maybe average new cost was $500,000 each. (These were big, really shiny expensive-looking rigs!) I am assuming maybe half were warranty work.

They do not advertise this service for warranty work, and in fact, it took a lot of complaining and tries at dealer repair on my part, plus some hints about participating in a blog, before they told me about this option. I am guessing that they do not want this cost with the average cheapo Class C buyer, right???? So they send almost all of us to the dealers for repair.

Does this make sense to all of you?
