Bought a new motor home

Postby MsBHaven » Fri Nov 09, 2012 9:54 pm

Looks like we will be going to the Florida GTG in a new rig. I posted photos and info under Show Off Your Rigs. Would like to know if anyone else has a Thor Chateau Citation Sprinter (Carol - carolinagal?). It is going to be a real challenge going from 40' 4-slides to 24' 10" 2-slides, but we are excited about new adventures ahead.

Margie, that's so exciting. Heading over to the other post. But I do think they might be what CArol had.

Yes Margie, I have a Chateau Citation , I love it. Mine is 2012, and only 24 ft, one slide where my horseshoe dinette is. Our cab area and kitchen are the only things , inside that look the same. I was told my front seats do not turn as you said yours do, now that I do envy, and I'm going to really check mine out. There are so many knobs and handles on seats one of them needs to do that for me  . I love the walk around bed you have, I still have the corner bed, but my bathroom sink and cabinet are bigger :D Same engine on Sprinter chassis. I have mine serviced at Freightliner, but not all of them will service the Sprinter, So check that out when you need service.

We'll have to compare notes and check each others rigs out at the Fl GTG. I think you all will really enjoy your new rig, it sure is pretty. I love driving mine, handles so good. I'm really happy for you all and think you have made a fabulous choice.

Enjoy !!!

Congratulations, Margie, on your new downsided rig! I'm sure you'll love her. When I first went to a smaller one I thought I'd never have enough space for all the things I "had" to bring along. Now, 5 years later, I'm seeing that I don't need half of it! Takes awhile to adjust. Oops! Didn't mean it would take 5 years!! Anyway - safe and happy journeys.

Congrats Margie! Beautiful rig and I'm sure you'll have a great time in it! Sometimes I think about downsizing, but I'm so used to this one doubt if that's in the near future. But you never know!
