I know this was very hard for you & will be for a long time. No amount of preparing yourself makes it any easier. He was a wonderful companion for you & you for him. I'm so sorry for your heartache & loss.

My heart goes out to you, Karen.
As I walked my 15-year old GS this morning, I wondered how much longer I would get to have her with me. Our pets are so dear offering unconditional love, constant companionship & faithful protection.
I'm sure Buddy will be watching over you & Sophie...

Karen, I am so, so sorry. I was hoping to see Buddy this winter. He was one special dog. I'm sure he was met by his sister. And they are talking about the very special mom they were lucky to have. Ahmad Sophie, I'm sure, is taking her job of helping you get through this very seriously.

Big hugs to you, my friend.

Karen -
My heart goes out to you. I lost my BFF ('best four-footed friend') in 1989 and still find myself dreaming about him sometimes. They are family and they are special. Hugs to you and Sophie!!

Karen, so sorry to read about Buddy's passing. They definitely become like family members. I remember meeting him in Douglas, Wyoming...and I remember how they took up so much room on your bed. You've had and given years of love, but it never makes it any easier to lose a pet.
