Great Saturday morning

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Great Saturday morning

Postby avalen » Sat Nov 10, 2012 9:01 am

Good morning ladies
coffee is hot and fresh, and I'm on my second cup already. Life has become easier for me in the laundry dept today. Son picked up a compact dryer
for me that now sets in the bathroom across from my compact washer. No more hanging everything on the line in my room or saving up 3 loads of
big stuff to run it over to the laundryroom in the corner of the complex. YEA!!! Just did the math on the little electric meter and it costs me 37 cents
a load to run, the washer costs 17 cents a load, not bad and thats not counting the soap or softener. I love convenience. When we get the rv placed
back in the rv park we will build a covered deck to take care of the "where to put it" issue. I'm getting so excited about paying off the loan and getting
on with my life I can hardly stand it. Just a couple more months to go :D
We've had some cooler temps the last couple days here in the desert, actually had to put my sweater on yesterday and when I got up this morning I had
to put my robe on to take the chill off.
The girls got up had breakfast and went back to bed, ahh the life of a dog. The ate every tiny morsel of breakfast, since I fed the last of their dog food
last night, they got a little can of lamb and rice senior diet of kitty food. haha, vet once told me dogs could live on catfood but cats could not live on
dogfood. Will be off to the store soon as I'm done on the computer this morning as I need to get my two weeks supply of both. The cat will be up soon
enough and asking for her breakfast with I fed to the dogs. :o
Other item on the agenda today, run to autozone and pick up the proper thermostat for my car so we can get that put in and hopefully it will be ready
for emissions test some day next week, have two days early release from school so hopefully I can get it done on either of those two days.
Thats about it from my corner of the world, hope all are well this morning and keeping warm out of any bad weather. Ya'll have a great day.

Don't imagine they do them in winter here in NY. Speaking of winter, it's taken a few days vacation from here! To be in the 60's maybe 70's this weekend! :D Will be doing yardwork for the last time--oh, I think I said that the last time I did yard work! (BTW Ava, great pic of yew & grandbaby!!) OK, another cp of coffee & I'm ready for the day. Y'all have a great one & safe travels to those on the move! 8-)

Good morning all. I am enjoying the woods and temps today that are supposed to be with highs around 70, so I can turn my little heater off.

Got a bit spooked last night because the campground was so deserted, but I feel much better this morning and ready to face the world Today is a rest day, meaning I have done a lot of driving for two days so I am using this day to rest and sightseeing without driving.

One thing I DO have to do soon is grocery shop. I got a small bottle of milk at the camp store but I really need to get out there and get some other basics, so when I get back on the road I will be looking for a big store tomorrow.

Good Morning from balmy Normal... it will be in the low 60s today...
Oh Judy you would have been really spooked out if you had been with me a few years ago when I stayed in an abandoned camp ground... my Shadow would bark and scare anyone away! Ava you have come along way... so glad you can see the light at the end of the tunnel... Maggie enjoy your day...
Hope everyone is up and moving... I just got moving a bit ago...

Good Morning,

We are back from our 3 days in Yuma. Lots of shopping for supplies LeRoy needs for doing mods on my camper. Two trips into Mexico for my new glasses, dental exams and a new crown for me.

We had a little rain last night - very little I think - but the sun is shining this morning. I am enjoying my coffee in relaxed mode - don't HAVE to be on a schedule!

Hope everyone enjoys their day.

Good Morning (almost Afternoon)
Hope everyone is having a great day so far...only 5 more days until I am camping whoohoo!!! I had the best intentions to work today - the boss does not know it yet, but I plan on working a little extra during the week and sneaking away on Thursday night instead of Friday night SSSHHH. I made the mistake of going out to the camper and working on her is much more fun than working on my job! I am going to re-hang all the cabinet doors I decoupaged last week and put on the new duvet covers I found.

What do you think? I just could not take those mirrored cabinets anymore :D

Good Morning to All - tried to post earlier when the coffee was hot but no Internet connection because of all the clouds around us. Sun is out now and we still have some delicious Mexican pastries left. Will have to make another bakery run today.
Lots of wind last night.
Posted a short blog about yesterday. Went to watch the sunset again but it wasn't spectacular - just nice.
Safe travels to every one.

Mornin' folks. Drinking a Diet Pepsi, wishin' it was a hot cocoa... (love the smell of coffee but not the taste! haha) I'm freezing- which is silly because it's probably just in the 60s or something. We picked up the rig from service and then drove it to a friend's place and spent the night out front of their place. Woke up FREEZING but didn't want to bother the neighbors with the sounds of the rig- so we dealt with it. We needed to drive the Smart back to the apartment to handle the sale of our sofa set anyway, so we just left earlier than we planned. Now we sit waiting for that to happen and catching up on internet stuffs.

Husband needs to do a bit of work today. Update and edit all our online ads (made a huge mistake in odometer reading on my scooter ads-d'oh!) We need to do some paperwork for le kiddos first apartment rental and such. Wait for the sofa buyers... and walk around the apartment looking for things to do/pack/sort/sell... most is done but hubby hasn't got to some of his "little things" nor has he got to his tie collection which he needs to pare down....and take to the rig.

Today we have 20 more days left of our apartment; twenty days to sort, load, sell or move it's leftover contents. And twenty more days to find, afford and move le kiddo to his own place. Then -we're mobile and only tethered to hubby's office/job....for now. Wish we were off at an RV Park/Campsite or ...well, if I'm going to waste a wish- wish we were out able to truly wander the country and beyond. Baby steps.

Nice, nice Saturday. Slept late and now finishing up on laundry. Will head out to Deland area this evening for dinner with a group of camping friends. We are all getting together to send off a couple moving back to Southern California. Packing the TT tomorrow for my first Good Sam's Samboree next week. Should be fun and only a 1-1/2 hour easy drive each way.

Have been watching for an update from Soos since she is should be back in town today. Soos, hope you are rested soon and ready for a mini meet up at the coffee shop. Cannot wait for an update on your summer.

Gena - I had to laugh about you having a Diet Pepsi in the AM I drink Diet Coke first thing in the AM (and almost all day) - also hate the taste of coffee but love the smell of it. Go figure??!! Don't like coffee flavored anything. Glad I'm not the only one. LOL

Agreed; hate coffee flavored anything! And I'm pretty open on which soda I drink- but my husband is a die-hard Throwback Pepsi drinker.
