Legal Lady says Hi!

Come on in and say hello.

Legal Lady says Hi!

Postby LegalLady » Fri Jan 02, 2009 4:25 pm

Hi guys! I've been over here for a while, but didn't want to post until I had my pic, and was too lazy to take the time to learn. But I did it today, so here I am! Some of you may remember I was going out to Las Vegas to buy my almost-brand new Roadtrek and drive it home. My very own "Escape Pod" is sitting in my yard, shivering under its blanket of snow. Last week, I took it to the mall with my daughter - it made me happy just to be in it and driving it! I can't wait for spring so I can really start using it - last year, I had not planned to buy, but this just fell into my lap and I couldn't pass it up, but couldn't use it much cause I had other commitments all lined up. But next year, I'm keeping everything open so I can PLAY!!

I'm looking forward to hanging out with you guys.

Oh, I'm SO glad that you were able to brush the "Pod" off and drive it around. My rig is snowed in right now -- I probably should dig it out and give it some exercise.

You'll have so much fun this year in your RoadTrek. You'll be able to keep us posted on all your adventures.

Hi Leslie!

So glad you found your Roadtrek and are loving it. Tell us about your trip home in it. I understand what you mean about "missing" it when it's just sitting there waiting for an adventure. We'll have to get together again for a camping adventure next time I'm in NH, hopefully next summer.

WELCOME, Leslie!

Glad to have you on board here! Do you have have a Boston accent? I miss that old New England twang! I started school in Cambridge during WWII, but lost my accent as we soon moved back to Hartford, CT.

Hope to meet you in person down the road some day!

Hi Legal Lady, so glad you have joined us. So many here seem to know you, I hope one day I will get to know you too. I think we all know the feeling you had, just being in your rig to go to the mall. If I can I take mine out for a nice ride, during the winter , instead of just charging the battery, monthly. I always wish at those times. I was really hitting the road. Its a wishful feeling.

Glad to have you here, hope you will post often.

In March, I often fly to Houston to visit my sister. I'm thinking of taking the Pod this time - that will be a very long solo drive for me, but I think I'm going to do it! Aside from loathing flying, I can take my poodle, Cosmo, with me.

Then as soon as its nice around here, the first local trip I want to take is to Provincetown on Cape Cod. I've never been there, even though I've lived in MA all my life! So my daughter and I are going to pack up our bikes and spend an overnight down there, biking around and seeing the sights just like tourists!

O, I just can't wait for spring!
