Just discovered more great photos here. Thanks ladies. Even with the large turn out for this gtg, it is hard to imagine all that food got consumed - sure does look good.

First of all, a huge THANK YOU to Birdie for her most excellent directions to get me over to the I-10! My Nuvi kept trying to send me north for some reason! LOL! Had a great time at the GTG, another thank you to Colleen and Birdie for being such great hostess'! I got to greet old friends and meet new friends that I had been communicating for years on-line with and had been wanting to meet. The potlucks were our usual feed fest and I'm still dreaming about those great steaks we had at Coopers. It would be worth another trip to that area just for the steak! LOL! (Can you tell where my brain usually is?)

A special thank you to my great friend, Vicki, (the nice one :D ) for coming out for the night last nite...I know you were exhausted. And for getting up at the crack of dawn to see me off. :D

And the good news? All of our newbies are just great! Dawn cooked her little fingers off the whole time, Maggie out did herself with her DO expo, and Chris (Red Wahine), your spaghetti was fantastic! (You see where my head was the whole time, right?) Bingo was fun, thank Pat for me, Martha. I got to see my Louisiana buds one last time and my Texas buds, too. AND, I got my German Shephard fix with the lovely Luchi. I had a great time! Except now I hear thru FB that Diana is there, drat! Missed her again! But I need to run for the border.

Oh, and once Carolyn gets home and has a connection to post pictures, you may see a picture of me with a Flamingo glass full of wine and carrying a bottle...don't believe it, it's been photoshopped!!

It was great to see everyone last night, even if it was for just a short time, and I was able to meet some of the new ladies and their puppers!

Thank you to those who offered a place to sleep! Colleen, that sofa was sooooo comfy, thank you!

Sharon, what can I say? Thank you for holding off your plans for one day so I could get there to see you :D . Wish you safe travels my friend, and some day I'll get out there ;)

My only wish would be to be able to stay longer....thanks ladies!!

I want to give a big MAHALO (Hawaiian thank you) to Colleeen (longdogs) and Nancy (birdie) for hosting this great gtg. The location and the campground was perfect. the weather was perfect. I really enjoyed meeting everyone. It is really fun to meet the people I've been talking to on this forum face to face. Everone was so friendly, supportive and fun :P Food was awesome and plentiful. :P DH enjoyed the trip as well. :P I have to thank him for going to a women's get together for our first trip with our new 5er. He likes to explore so, each day we went in a different direction. Friday we went to Natural Bridge Caverns and Animal Park near New Braunfels. DH loves flea markets, antiquing, etc. so we Spent most of Sat at the Saturday market in Wimberley. Then on Sun we drove to Fredericksburg and went to the Pacific War Museum. It was awesome...really needed 2 days to see it all! The rest of the time DH very much enjoyed his recliner and the TV while I got to hang out with the ladies. Tyler did well as a travel dog too! No barking while we were gone and no problems with other dogs. Althought he really wanted to chase the little black kitty with two white stripes and bushy tail  As we left this morning I felt a little sad. It went by so fast. Aloha to all, until we meet again my new friends.

I'm sorry to miss meeting Vicki and now Diane - but I thoroughly enjoyed meeting every one that I got to meet. I'm still trying to put names and faces together in my mind. So, don't ask me to name everyone in the group picture. I'm not sure I could at this point.
