generator load question

generator load question

Postby bluepinecones » Mon Nov 05, 2012 12:51 pm

I know that the generator should be exercised with a load. The only suggested load I've seen is to run A/C. Now that winter is closing in is there something other that the A/C that will produce desired load for exercising ginny?

A little electric heater does a pretty good job. Or go fix lunch in your microwave :)

I use the electric heater. Can't run the microwave long enough to keep a load going.

Thanks, ladies. I'll give the little heater a try.
