More health problems, this time my heart

I have been mostly absent from the forum for a while. Since the Lyme Disease, I just didn't feel well. Assumed it was lingering Lyme but eventually found out that my aortic valve had deteriorated to the point that it needs replacing. Going in on Election Day for open heart surgery. I was holding up pretty well but last night was a meltdown. I finished up my last day of work yesterday before my medical leave and I guess without the distraction of work, it all just hit me. Mostly I was angry but I think it is really just being frightened. My oldest daughter will take me to her home when I am released. I hope to only need about a week with her and then move back to my rig. The corner bed is the problem. You can't push, pull or lift for a while. I would imagine that crawling is out.

While you are watching those election results, send some positive energy my way. I will be blissfully unaware under the influence of narcotics. Hope to be back on the forum in a couple of weeks.
