TaDa!!! Here me is and I bought a few logs for the fire too. ;) And a bottle of Yago Sant' Gria, it's a light fruity red wine, cheap but it sure is tasty! LOL I got 2 bottles of it and have about killed the first one.

I'm really looking forward to vegging out this weekend. Dang supervisor came around asking everyone which day they were working this weekend!!! She came to me and asked Saturday? Or Sunday? I looked at her and said, "Neither"! OMG  Such a complete look of blank & at a loss for words came over her face!!! It was all I could do to keep a straight face! It was priceless!!! Then she pulled out that magic word 'mandatory'. Oh well, told her no again and that if I got deviated, I got deviated. That I had been looking forward to January so that I could have a whole weekend off and I was going to take it. Ahhhhhh! I am gonna go to bed tonight when ever I feel like it and will get up tomorrow when ever I feel like it. No alarm! Knowing me tho I will probably wake up cause of needing to do a potty run and then Shade will need to go out too. But by goodness I just might go back to bed after that. Hmmmm????

Have finished the first Sue Henry book Serpents Trail and I'm working on the 2nd one, The Tooth of Time. I loved the first and I know I will love the other 2 also. I see in the back of the first one that she has written more of Jesse Arnold too. :) Now if only Jean Auel would come out with her next one!

So I'm gonna kick back here in my comfy camp chair and read post to see what all you wild ones have been getting up to.

YAWN!!!!

Well I have finished reading the posts and answered a few of them. I have about killed the bottle of wine I opened and I think it's time for my tired old butt to wander down the hall and go to bed & to sleep. I'm pooped.

The campfire has burned down and is now a good bed of coals with only a few chunks left to flicker here and there. So it should be in good shape until someone else feels the need for the hypnotic pleasure found here. The fog is rolling in pretty thick and my blankie while getting damp has done its job keeping my back and backside dry and warm. It's been very quiet tonight. Everyone has been partied out with New Years.

Good night my friends, I hope the day treated you good. Will visit with you all tomorrow morning at Barbz kitchen table.

Nite Nite

I noticed this morning that you not only keep our campfire going, you then went in and heated up the coffee. What service! I had some running around to do and a library stop. Okay, I am ready to stare into the fire and slow down a bit. Enjoying a quiet weekend, staying home now and warm with a dog and a book in my lap.

Hey, I think I saw Jill hanging around here earlier today. It was so good to see her smiling face. Hope she'll stop by the campfire to say hello. I'll throw on a couple of logs just in case.

what a nice toasty warm campfire, just gonna sit a spell and unwind before I go to bed.
Tomorrow is a workday, my two weeks off is done :(
and it certainly was a busy two weeks for me, went by too fast. Still dogsitting my
daughters little girl, at least until Wednesday. She comes back on Wednesday and
will pick up Shasta after I get home from work. The girls will probably be looking
for her.
I enjoyed some hot applecider this evening, spiced of course, and it was so good.
Gonna have to buy more cause it really settles nicely in the evening when its chilly.
Hot chocolate does too but it has caffeine (sp?) so I like to reserve that for other
times.
Well, the girls are bugging me to go to bed so guess I will submit to their little
whim. They are so spoiled.

OH, oh, just look at that beautiful fire you had - and that you so kindly shared with us all the way from GA. It's still so nice and warm. I'm sitting a spell - then heading off to bed. Thanks.

Just checking on the fire before I head off to the oral surgeon regarding losing my wisdon teeth sometime in the near future. A great bed of coals and just enough wood to keep it steady until the next visitor wanders through. Now own to see how much $$$ they will need. As I said there goes the extra gas money for February travel. I think I will just need to hunker down near this Campfire for this winter anyway. Take care, be well and enjoy waht you can of what the day brings. It usually brings a few bright moments if we remember to watch and listne for them......Oops, the pups say they need to patrol the yard again.....I have to go and let them out. No wild beasties in this yard....except my own.....
