Mini-GTG in Deming, NM....

Well, I've been keeping a this to myself for a couple of days now....but knew we were getting company today....Mtgal (Diana) and Asirimarco (Carol) and Bill are all here at the Little Vineyard RV Park, Deming,NM We didn't know exactly when everyone would be here today, so neither Diana nor Carol knew that the other was going to be here....The Sultan made up some really nice "Tapias" for a snacky type dinner for all of us....After they all got settled in, we met at our site and ate and talked for 2-3 hours...













Since they have all been on the road, we decided to call it an early evening around 7pm so the travelers could get some rest. Ernie's promised "Sweet Rolls" in the morning before they all head out to their destinations.....Diana, to Austin....Carol & Bill to Mexico....It was so nice to finally meet Carol & Bill....and nice to see Diana, again...when we first met her, she didn't even have an RV when we had the Kerrville GTG in 2007.....

And yes, things do happen and places to see in Deming, NM....

You never know who will be here next week..... Stay tuned.....

Guess what's for lunch?!....

Had a great mini GTG with Lori, Ernie and Diana. So fun to meet people you know a little about. Ernie fixed a "snack and a half" delicious. I didn't realize I was hungry until I started sampling his wares. Believe me they don't have too much left for lunch.
Glad we stopped in Deming - we've always bypassed it before and stayed in Las Cruces. Next time we'll stop here for sure. Nice campground and easy in and out.


Bill screwed up his back in the morning and it was still bothering him by end of day. Tried to get him to go into the hot tub but he is shy!!!! Said there were ladies in it.
Had a great visit. So glad we stopped here.

Stopped at a McD's in Fort Stockton for wifi; YES it was A great little Mini GTG. Like someone said, often the best kind!
Quiet last night at Balmohrea; hope Carol and Bill safely in Mexico.
