Sorry, I wasn't there for the actual New Year. I figured it would happen with or without me.

It was really a good and fun night. And that last pic - those are some of the ladies we do line dancing with. And, wooohoooo, me, who never has two-stepped - one of those ladies husbands took me out on the dance floor and taught me the two-step last night, too :)

looked like a fun evening, I remember learning the two-step back when I was in
my 20's and I did very well, so I was told, but don't think I could remember it now,
that was a long time ago!

Sparkle, looks like you and Beth had a great time. Margies..yum! Love to line dance and two step too. Although the various two step dances change so much from year to year, I'm sure my dance knowledge is superceded by now. Hope you have a super fantastic New Year.

Great pics you two! your smiles show how much fun you were having. I was probably sawing logs by midnight Sparkle, and yes, it does seem to happen with or without us. :D That looks like a great place to spend the winter,... and even have mailboxes! No getting to town to pick up "general delivery"... that's great for those going to be there for several weeks at a time.

GREAT pictures, you two! Sure looks like a fun New Year's celebration to me! Hope to be somewhere like that for next year, maybe? It must be great to know you can walk back to your house, and not have to worry about a designated driver or hire a cab to get there!

Are you sure you and Beth are related? You look like sisters. Looks like you guys had a lot of fun.

Hope you all noticed that I got Sparkle out of the witness protection program for this pic :)

Not related that we know of - maybe we need to do more genealogy research - you never know if you go back far enough. She is Scottish, and I'm part Scottish - hmmmmmmmmm could you imagine our ancesters way back then -

That actually happened to me! One of my friends was doing her geneology and found out her GGgrandma was the Sister to my GGGrandpa!! :o :D

Glad you two had a great fun night :D
