New Year's Eve Photos at NAS Corpus Christi

Postby rvgrammy1953 » Thu Jan 01, 2009 2:21 pm

Well, I mentioned at the Morning Coffee that we went out for the partying last night and that I would post photos....So here goes.....
The party was at the NAS Corpus Christi Bay Club....They really did a bang up job....food stations in every room, DJs in the 2 ballrooms, door prizes, i.e. tvs, dvd players, IPods, gift cards, etc....party favors and Hats, you name, they had it....and it was all FREE!!!! Iced tea, coffee and sodas were free....you only paid for the "adult Beverages".... :D We had a great time and praised the staff and the commander for their effort....

Great photos Lori,.... thanks! I goofed and fell asleep about a half hour before midnight in Times Square. Woke up an hour later and of course it was all over. I've only missed two New Year's Eve midnights since I was a little kid.

I like the one of Ernie smiling,.... usually he looks so serious in pics. come on Ernie,... that's a great smile,... let's see it more often!

Have fun you two!

Gosh Lori, that was a really nice party. I don't think you had to many pictures. Needed all of them to see all the party stuff. I loved the hats with the year on them. What fun you all must have had, thanks loads for sharing, I went to bed an hour before, no fireworks around here

Well dang it!! I know I posted to this just a few minutes ago??? Must have zinged off into the ether!!!

Lori?? I don't know about Ernie doing that grinning like that? I don't think he should really...He looks kinda sexy when he's smiling. Some split tail will come along and try to pluck him away!!!

You two look great with them big ol'smiles!! You two were either having one heck of a blast or you were faking it real good!!!

Great photos! If I'd been there, maybe I could've stayed awake. I dozed and awoke when neighbors set off fireworks...Roe barked and I got up to see if any of them came through my pool cage like they did a couple years ago. I'm a scrooge about that I guess.
