Beth you are right, just roll with the flow. We never know where the river will flow to but if the kayak fits we will float on it. That is what is fun about having a very unplanned gathering, if you cook it, we eat it, if you suggest it, somebody will love to be part of it. So bring those new recipes, try them on us. I have learned great cooking at some of the gatherings..

You and Beth are so right, Nan....We love GTGs that are laid back, spontaneous, and the more food, the better....hikes, kayaking, the all important nap, campfires, and just sitting around yaking.....what a life and what a great bunch of women (and the guys that we drag along with us i.e. the Sultan, the Asst. Sultan, and many others. who always have a great time hanging out with the Sistahs') we have....

DITTO! This GTG has no agenda. We will all get there, walk around, hike, bike, paddle, sit around various campfires, sing, talk, eat------and if some wish to organize a sight-seeing trip, or paln an organized activity, they can do it after we all get there. Some may want to go, some may wish to stay put. This GTG is a vacation where we get to meet new friends and reconnect with old friends! We can choose to cook, or choose to share already prepared foods, or choose to just eat and chat, or whatever! Open-ended camping fun with no agenda or plans!
