I offered the use of an electric cooker for the pancakes, but I can't find the cord. grrrrrr. I am looking, looking, got to be in a box someplace.

We can do cranberry chicken again, Liz, is on the scene, so she can make sure I put it together right.

If everyone throws a bit in the pot we can have some awesome meals.. we never go hungry.

Looking forward to seeing everyone.

I have an electric griddle that is great for pancakes! Hopefully I can remember to bring it with me.
Cranberry chicken sounds yummy.

If you have an electric skillet, the cord might work.

And some of us that are more "cooking challenged" will fetch and carry what ever the rest of you need. If you need something store bought, I am your woman. More wine? Not a problem.... If you need taste testers, we can do that, too!

Y'all just let me know what you need me to bring for the Cranberry Chicken. Have never had that so have no idea what the ingredients would be other than the obvious chicken and cranberries.  I am in process of thinking of what to fix for TX GTG so will plan for FL GTG after that.

At the womenRV GTGs you cook what you like and bring what you want to share.....all desserts no problem :) All delicious specialties...we manage to put them away, too.... No one has ever left hungry or with complaints that I heard of  I will admit that certain ladies have a following due to their talents and welcoming campfires....(Irmi, Mitch, just to name a few... 8-) ) But then different folks have their own "specialty" dishes which seem to disappear quickly when ever they appear on the table. Bring what you like to prepare, I promise you that it will disappear before your eyes. :) I have to admit, I am best when handing over a dozen eggs to someone like Lori who promises to prepare breakfast to all comers  (Thanks Lori) .....we each contribute in our own way.... :)

Irmi, I like to cook, too, so I'll be happy to help with the cooking. I can cook some downhome Southern cooking and you can teach me some recipes from your region! And I can wash dishes, too. ;)

Dawn, are we still planning to get together while you are in Mississippi?
Irmi wrote:Yippee-skippee!!! I am so looking forward to seeing all my old friends and making lots of new ones. For those that don't know, I love to prepare meals and tasty sides! We never have to worry about going hungry at these GTG's!

I'm thinking I'll just spend my day going to Irmi, Swansonia's and any others who like to cook  Also being challenged by a very tiny kitchen I'll volunteer to be a gofer and bring things like wine, chips, syrup etc!

You said it, Karen!

I will whip up a batch of my Recipe (ask anyone who has tried that once or twice!) and will be responsible for making a gigundous batch of beef stew for one night. I also have a mean hot dip that went over well last year in FL, and I will make that, too.

Everybody can help by providing some paper plates, some disposable silverware, some paper cups, and perhaps some ice cubes for refreshments! We can recyhcle all the paper when we start our nightly campfires, so our dump stuff should be minimal.

Of course crackers, dips, chips, cookies, and any and all snacks are never turned down by anyone!

YAHOO! I can smell the foods now, and can hear all the around-the-campfire chats!

This is one gtg that I'm really sorry I can't be at. It's shaping up to be a heck of a good one, at a Florida state park I fell in love with a few years ago. Great trails, and if the weather holds, great kayaking. Then the camaraderie and food. Wow, I'm gaining wait just reading about it.

I am still planning to be in FL from Jan 1 thru Apr, so I will do my darndest to make it to the GTG!!! I can't really make reservations since I don't know where I will be. Maybe I will be close enough to drive over more than once ;) I hope to be workamping somewhere down there. It would be ideal if I could workamp at that park :D :D :D
