When your day falls apart.

Ever have your great day just fall apart. Had my physical, everything is wonderful. Came home decided to get the mowing done, great cool day. Then it happened, ran over a pipe with the mower, of course it stopped. Began to work to get the pipe out and stepped into a spider web...That spider bite me at least twice so that ended a great day.

Had to go to an urgent care center for some help. I was off to the races, steroid shot to stop the reaction, had to update my tetanus shot, and ice to decrease the pain and sweling.

This was so very painful, burning hurt you could have. My jaw was so painful, my ear and my throat.

So be careful out there, don't walk into a spider web...

Needless to say I didn't finish the mowing.

Oh Nan, so sorry about your day, so glad you got help, quickly.

My day was a good day, no urgent care visit........ But things kept happening working on the spirits . Had water problems, still have water problems, hopefully water will flow today. To begin with, pipe had a hole in it, ok that's fixed, pump is put back down in ground, pump is not working , so haul it all back up, put new pump down. Pressure is so good on it , pressure we think blew more holes in the pipe. Pipe supposedly is a very good one and should last forever, ya Right !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Today having new pipe and the new pump all put down, praying while switch is thrown on. These type of days and I see my winter time slowly slipping down the drain. (pun intended)

Things happen !!! When they don't include drs. In the situation it's all good. Hope this morning you're all over your reaction and you don't find anymore webs. My lawn needs mowing, my mower isn't working, (repair guy hasn't shown up yet) do you think N. C. Is to far to come mow mine ? roll:

Hope today is a better day, Nan. Get your tenant to mow the lawn for you....after the pipe is untangled, that is. Hope that doesn't involve a repair bill.

Nan, you really had a day! Do you have any idea what kind of spider bit you? I hope the swelling and pain go down, so you take it easy for a bit.

Nan - glad you were able to get help quickly and hope you are well on the mend. It also sounds like you may need to get a prescription for an epi pen to have just in case.

Wow! Since I hate spiders, I've got the willies just thinking about it! Nan, you had quite a day. Hope the moon moves into a different sign, you are getting well, and someone else does the mowing!

Oh, ouch, spider bites! I'm so glad you went to urgent care right away! I've ended up in the ER with spider bites, too. Nasty stuff!

OUCH!!! Glad that you got to help so fast and I'm so sorry that you suffered in that way....

Are you allergic to spiders or do you have exceptionally nasty spiders in your yard???? If the one's in your yard are just extra nasty I am not gonna volunteer to mow your lawn!!!!

ouch, makes me hurt thinking about it, I hate spiders, I don't care how many offensive bugs they catch in their webs, its not enough and I still hate them.
Hope you shots weren't too painful, but know they were necessary. I recently (couple weeks ago) got a tetanus shot and it included the whooping cough.
I expected my arm to hurt for a couple days but it was fine. Medicine has come a long way I guess.

I am still a bit sore at the bite point on my jaw but it is definitely getting better.

I sent out word, spiders in my yard beware, I am armed with spray, a swatter and anything else I can find to kill them.
