Good morning, wow, I slept in!! First 2 nts in rig I did not sleep well. But last night I slept like a log. Tyler is in dogie jail so I don't have to get up to walk him. I miss him something awful. I feel silly just taking a walk around the RV park by myself!!! It is like not having my right arm!!

Our first trip towing our 5er was from Picayune to Biloxi...about 50 miles. There is a big event for classic cars in town so we are at a park far from the action.( RV parks full) Lots of long term residents here, but everyone is really nice and helpful. DH is nagging me to get up and get ready to go sightseeing ( he means the casinos  ). Our jello plans are heading west tomorrow with a stop at Coushetta!!

Soos, the picture of the fall foliage is awesome and sorry to hear about the family illnesses. Grand kid is adorable!!!

More latter. Gotta run. Everyone stay safe and have a great day.

Good morning Everyone, what a busy kitchen this morning ! Soos, loved your pix , must be gorgeous up there. We have to wait a wee bit here yet, but leaves are changing. I have fireplace on here too. Hoping weather doesn't change too fast this yr, don't plan to leave until near Thanksgiving, so much to do first.

So glad, Sharon that I am not only one who cries when thinking of Hershel. I feel bad for those of you who did not know him. We all enjoyed and had so much fun with him. he joined in many an escapade any of us thought up. He's sure on my special furbuddie list, as is Roe, who is still very much missed in my house...What wonderful memories they have left us with !!!!!

Gotta stop this and get back to clearing clutter out of here. realtor didn't email estimate yet, Tuesday I will call well person, not the same company that supposedly fixed it last March. My list goes down an item or so and grows several more things that need doing. setting in front of my fireplace is not shortening that list. :(

Wishing you all a Super day, stay safe in whatever you choose to do this cool, rainy day.

It was 58 this morning when I went out to give my kitten his medicine. They would like to get out of the cage to play but it needs to warm up a bit before I want to sit and watch them. The one with the abscess still won't put any weight on his leg but I can tell he is feeling better. When I brought him to the vet the first thing the receptionist started telling me was how much it was going to cost for each thing they do. I felt like asking her if we should let the kitten die from an abscess. When I was 15 I walked 2 miles to a vet with a kitten that had a broken leg. The vet put a cast on him and told me it would be $8 and I could pay him anytime.

Beautiful picture Soos. It's still mostly green here. About the time some grass dies the rye grass kicks in and it's green again. My grandmother came to Louisiana from the New Mexico dust bowl and never quit loving how green things were in Louisiana.

Wendy, glad you like your pillow. My DH has been on the hunt for the perfect pillow for a while. I got tired of returning pillows. He has arthritis in his neck and now uses 2 towels rolled up with tape around the ends to hold them together. You should see the looks we get when he shows up at a doctor's office with them. He forgets and heads out with his towels and I find them hung over the porch railing, on the 4 wheeler and in the truck.

Just got back from a guided nature walk along the Verde RIver. Did not see much wildlife (animals) but found out the names of some plants. I rode my bike downhill to the meetup place, but then had the task of riding/walking it back uphill. My back was killing me. I guess I should not complain because my lower back is the only place I have any serious arthritis, and a alot of people have it in a lot more places and more severely than I do.

Fixed myself some french toast with real Michigan dark maple syrup! (I think we have better syrup than New England because it is darker, thicker, and richer tasting. Yum!)

So now I am settled in from of the TV with my laptop on my lap relaxing. Will respond to some of my students introductory videos later to give them the personal touch online. May even take a nap.

Very nice state park, by the way, Dead Horse Ranch in Arizona. Best spots are on the south end of Red Tail Hawk loop because they are slightly bigger and have the best view of the valley. Water and electric hookups.

Vickie, your calendar confusion reminds me of the time my son called from London to wish me a Happy Mother's Day and I couldn't figure out why (It wasn't even May!)...you were the one to quickly check your calendar and let me know that it was mom day in England.

Vicki, I figured if I came to TX, you'd help me get it to Australia!

We're staying in Columbus tonight. Further than we planned, but the cg we were going to was full.
