Many of you knew that while we were in Alaska, my dd went in the hospital to have a benign tumor removed from her brain. The surgery went well, but it has left her having epileptic seizures. I came back through Panama City and stayed there about two weeks and ran her back and forth to the ER until they finally decided maybe they should admit her. The meds were not high enough in her system to stop the seizures. So they brought the med level up in the hospital and after a bit more than a week released her. She came out to the State Park there and stayed with me for almost a week. During that time she got her strength back and was out walking.
Today I got a call from her and she was readmitted with the same problems. So they are upping the dosage but have to get her levels up again by IV. They do not want her to have a grand mal seizure so it is important to stop these now.
It is the hope that these seizures will stop when the surgery area on the brain is healed. We will have to wait and see.
In the meantime, my house has a new realtor and we are pushing to get this house sold. I rented a storage building so anything small that I can move and want to keep is being moved out.
Got the pool back in order, but need to get my grass mowed but while it storms here, will stick to the work inside. Grabbed a ladder and cleaned out my gutters before the rain hit today.
Life is great if you don't buckle.
