Yay Red! I am so excited for you. I know you will love it and I cannot wait to hear about your adventures and see the pictures. Take your time and drive safe.
Soos, have fun shopping for that first birthday for your grandson.
I spent all day at CW yesterday with all three dogs getting the new couch put in, the in motion satellite system, bigger door handle for Mom to get in the rig, tire pressure and temperature monitor. I was so proud of the dogs. We were in the lounge from 8 in the morning until about 6 last night. Luke and Rascal were quiet and very well behaved. Of course, Belle had to let everyone know she was there by growling everytime she heard anyone walking by for most of the day. By about 4 yesterday afternoon, she quit that too. Being blind, that is her reflex when she hears something she does not recognize. I took the dogs out for a walk about once an hour to the back of their lot. It was like having 3 little kids to cart around in a lot of ways.
I don't like the new couch as much as the old one, but am OK with it. It will make it where Mom can sleep comfortably. Because the old couch was on a platform on the slide, this couch sits a lot higher. Also had to buy 2 sets of those plastic jack platform thingies. When the bed is out, the legs are 5 inches off the floor. Takes 5 of the plastic thingies on each leg and the bottom rail to make it level. Otherwise, her feet would be a lot lower than her head. Also found out the tile floor was only grouted up to where the original couch sat so I am going to have to do some grouting to the new couch. May put a throw rug over that area temporarily until I can get the grout to get it done.
After Mom and Paul make it to this CG where I am now, we will need to call CW to schedule the installation of the base plate, tow bar and braking system for the Jeep Wrangler she traded her Kia in on. She got the Wrangler yesterday and had the chair lift moved from the Kia to the Wrangler. Mom and Paul should be in here sometime today.
Hope everyone has a great day and if you are traveling, stay safe.
