Update on Ms Reba's Surgery

Postby Barbzeee » Wed Oct 03, 2012 2:38 pm

Ms Reba is doing well.. her surgery was a little over 2 hours and not only did she have a tumor but also a fatty tumor as well...it was double duty.... Doc was afraid he would have enough skin to close because it was so taunt..so he had to remove section by section and layer...she did really well.. in fact she was the Hot Topic of the Hospital.. as we brought her up first thing this morning Doc had to other surgeries scheduled and because of the amount of surgery that had to be done on Reba he did her last...

So in the morning Ms Reba preformed for all of the.. Yes, she made her presence known ..demanding too and in fact they had given her a little water and Sue the Tech went in to Ms Reba and low and behold..Ms Reba let her know she wasn't going for this..and got Sue's finger (Reba has no teeth) but she gnawed anyway..and then proceeded to stomp her feet..and even a few yodels..(rotten brat) so Sue decided to keep Ms Reba calm they all took turns holding her.. OMG..she's got them doing what she wants...HA !

So all of them agreed (I bet it's because they don't wanna put up with her..I know they can't kid me LOL ) as soon as Ms Reba is stable...she's coming home !!!

I have a Pot roast in the pressure cooker as I type and I'll make sure I put that when done in the food processor to grind it up and hopefully she'll start to eat...cause she needs the protein to heal...

Thank you all for your kind words and prayers... and my heart has been pounding and my blood pressure has been sky high..so now I can lay down and take a nap...Thank You one and all...and God Bless

Zeee and Critters 3..... You are the BESTEST !!!

YIPPEE YIPPEE YIPPEE! That's the post I have been waiting for all morning! Amazing little skinny fiery big-eared furry little 4-footer!!! I am so happy to read this, and now you can go and relax a bit until Ms. Reba comes home and demands your attention----but it's attention you will be SO VERY HAPPY to be able to give!

Happy hugs from me and Molly and Dinah

Yeah, I was wondering how she's going to handle the cone of indignity.

Such a relief to have the surgery over with...she definitely makes her presence known. She will get the very best post surgery care...Barb, no doubt your body will demand some rest too..

I am so glad Ms Reba's surgery went well too. I know we were texting back and forth yesterday, but wanted to add my 2 cents. I cannot wait to hear her barking back at Belle when we FaceTalk next. I know Belle always starts it. She says she is a bigger Diva than Ms. Reba.

So glad that Ms Reba is doing fine. Keep on force feeding her, good thing she has no teeth. Main thing is you relax now, and calm down. Will try for face time this afternoon, can't wait to hear her barking her attitude at you again. Tough old broad.

Hmmm, do I have to have surgery to get pot roast? Seriously, you know I'm happy for you and Ms. Reba - but had to chime in on the pot roast. That sounds so yummy. Going to have to make some when I get settled in AZ. My stomach is talking to me just from reading about it. No way Ms Reba can turn that down.
