Rabbits morning

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Rabbits morning

Postby bluepinecones » Mon Oct 01, 2012 8:26 am

Good morning from wet, windy, cold Tunica, MS.
Yes, Carolyn, Wendy and I survived the long drive from Crossville, TN to Tunica, Ms yesterday. We were tired puppies when we arrived around 5:00 PM (left Crossville at 8:00 AM). If you ever need advice on navigating thru Nashville, call Carolyn. That was the part of trip I most dreaded but she skillfully guided us around the city and traffic was relatively light on a Sunday morning. Actually the traffic in Memphis with rain turned out to be worse. Carolyn got us around much of it as well.

Can't remember but think I spoke to Nicky before remembering to say Rabbits this AM. Not good since we will likely go to the casino today.

I did think to bring some warmer clothes on this my 3rd outing in Magic. However I packed them in the outside storage bin - maybe not the best idea. Hoping the rain might let up a bit so I can get to them in a little while.

Have a great day, everyone.

Rabbits!! I remembered last night, before I went to sleep. It was after midnight so maybe it counts!? Anyway didn't remember until I read Blue's coffee greetings. Glad to hear y'all made it safe and sound to Tunica. Great navigating. Good luck in the casinos :P

Made some French toast and coffee this AM. Y'all come and get it. DH and I are taking the truck back to the hitch place. Hopefully the new hitch from the factory will arrive with all the right parts this time. Jello plans to head to MS on Thurs to take delivery of 5ver. When I told DH about you alls trip to Tunica and all about the Harrah's RV park, he said to look up the route to get there. But then we think it is too far from Picayune for our first trip. We'll probably go over to Biloxi for their casinos. However, there is a big classic car cruise in for a week starting next Monday and there are no RV spots after Sat. Night :(

Everyone have a great day and stay safe. Aloha.

OK - Red, you have lived in TX long enough - it's not you alls, it's y'alls, or all y'alls.

It's a gorgeous fall day here today, right around 60 driving to work this morning and a clear sky. So what do I have to do? Spend the day in a windowless office - so not fair!!!

Yogurt for breakfast this morning - sorry, no time to cook.

And no, I didn't remember to say Rabbits.

Believe it or not "you alls" is part of Hawaiian pigeon. Yes, I've been in Tx long enough, but I will probably always mix up the pigeon or slang or???

Mornin y'all from another transplanted Texan. Been here since I was 16, so consider myself a Texan.

Going to go to CarMax with Mom in a little while to see about trading her Kia for a Honda CR-V. Also made my reservation starting tomorrow at a CG close to CW to start getting my installations done on Wednesday. Made the reservations for a week. After I get the installations done, I will be meandering down the freeway to the dealership to see about getting my booboo fixed. Not sure how long that will take or if they will be able to get me right in. All of that is jello at this point. I think I will be able to just go down the access road from the CG to CW. Hope so. I sure don't want to deal with rush hour traffic on I35 if I can avoid it.

I think Mom is ready to move back in with me.  With Paul's sofabed out, she cannot get out the door to take her little dog out early in the mornings and he is not an early riser. She is sleeping in his bedroom and he is sleeping on the sofabed. My floor plan is much better for either one of us having to take dogs out early or late. No beds in the way. Well, got to go get in the shower and get ready to go.

Hope everyone has a wonderful day and if you are traveling, stay safe.

GOOD LATE MORNING TO ALL!

It says it's 50 degrees outside, but I just got back from the post office and it feels more like 30! It's windy, rainy, and feels danged cold. I also let a mouse go on the way there....he might not make it as he looked half-paralyzed with the coldness. I need to set traps both in here and in the trailer now as it's mouse-move-into-the-heated-places time.

We all slept late this morning (me, Molly, and Dinah) and I am ashamed to say I forgot to make RABBITS the first word out of my mouth----my first word was NO as I didn't want both Molly and Dinah to think we were getting up at about 4:00 am when I got out of bed to head to the bathroom. As soon as I uttered it, I knew I had made a booboo, but it was too late. Sigh. Yes, Red, it counts if you make it your first word after midnight as that is technically the first day of the new month. Congrats!

Sarah it sounds as if you all are having a fun time traveling around and visiting! Hope to see you in FL this winter!!

Today seems to be a perfect day to work here in the house, so I guess I'll tackle my movies while it's too nasty to be out mowing any more. I hope to get them to a place that can digitize them all and in such a way that I can later narrate them and tell future generations who we all are and where we all were.

I hope you all find something fun to do today wherever you may be.

Good morning

Got off to a slow start but am wearing my Halloween t-shirt...need to buy a couple more :D

And hubby is out running some errands and the mens urinal is running over (only water) and I can't figure out how to turn the water off AGHHHH

It is a beautiful Fall morning here in the Ozarks. And the trees are changing colors almost right before our eyes. Hope to get out one afternoon this week and take some pictures.

Dawn, I must have missed something...why is your mom sleeping in Paul's motor home? Hope you can get the car thing worked out and the boo-boo gets fixed soon.

Hubby just walked in the door...told him about the urinal and he booked out the door :)

Hope everyone has a great day!!!

Good Morning at least for a few minutes! Oh Dawn... when I was reading fast I dropped the two o's at the end of your sentence and I knew I had missed something major in posts... lol I read back and then it said booboo not boob... wrong place to get a boob job anyway!
Sarah remember I gave you $100's of dollars to gamble for me????? don't I wish!.... so glad Carolyn got you around Nashville... I got lost maybe 5 times in one trip... no more Nashville for me!
French toast that sounds heavenly... have not had that in many a moon...
I am still carless and not sure when I will get it back... my grandson works on it in his spare time... hopefully I will get it this week...
Today will be more sorting things out that I do not need... will make boxes for good will and for the garbage... I think I am started early enough to get done in a couple of years... that is about the time my name will come up on the senior housing lists...
I trust you all are having a great day... mine is half gone already!
