Seems Liz always ended up in the interesting non-seats in Alaska, too! Laps, floors...that woman will sit anywhere to go on a car ride! Something about being vertically challenged (like Mitch) Liz always agreed/volunteered for the left over spaces. At least she got windows this time. I remember the little voice coming up from the floor asking about the scenery in Whitehorse and what we were seeing..... We did see that she got fed regularly and we let her out for exercise.

Been wonderful here so far. This morning we had to say bye to Liz and Carol as they headed out to NC.
My camera has been in hiding but I did find it in time to get a shot of our rigs before they left and one of Aunt Liz walking Nicky.

I made it home around 5:30 this afternoon. Had a bit of a scare this morning when I stopped for gas. The guy at the pump across from me said I had transmission oil leaking all over. Needless to say I was a bit freaked out. After he had a look underneath, checked the fluid level he had me roll forward and saw that there was in fact oil on my front tires which meant it had been there before. Was I relieved! I stopped for lunch and then for an hours nap at a rest stop and so considering figured I made good time.

Big thank you to Carolyn for showing us such a good time and for the use of her golf cart!

We were sorry to see you go this morning, BJ. You really made good time, thought you had planned to take two days to get home.

Wendy and I helped Carolyn break in her new WiiFit today and in the process both of us learned some new things.

Tomorrow will be a real test as the 3 of us will head west all the way across TN then south to Tunica, MS. Neither Wendy nor I have ever tried to drive that far in a single day (about 400 miles, I think). It is mostly Interstate and involves going thru both Nashville and Memphis - another first, at least for me. Hoping for lighter traffic since it is Sunday.

The Wii Fit Plus is so much fun but those girls really gave me a work out. I'm just hoping I can get out of bed for our long trip tomorrow. Thanks Sarah, you are a jewel.
