Good Morning Carolb and all who follow,

Read Carol's post and got my mornng word game done. Reading minus the "u" is a riot, makes for a interesting read and goes to show you just how many words have "u" in them. Hope yo-r "-" b-tton hangs in there Carol  . M-st be real f-n typing and having to remember to hit the "-"

I'm up before the crack of dawn again today, thanks to Sassy. She is so conditioned to getting her morning pill, that she wakes me up around 6 every morning. I was just going to give it to her and go back to bed, but then Tessa appeared for her pill and everybody went outside. I got busy packing up some craft stuff for my trip north and just decided may as well just stay up  If I get drowsy, I can alway take a "cat nap". Got things to do today like cleaning house, banking and a quick run to Hobby Lobby perhaps and maybe Home Depot. Oh yeah, got to stop at the car wash and give my Flex a good vacuming, it's filthy. Shame on me for letting it get so bad, but then I've been hauling some stuff and..... :|

Ms. Tessa came out pretty good at the vet yesterday. As I had suspected, the Tetracycline gave her tummy a good upset and therefore no eating. So we are taking her off that med till I get back from vacation and in the meantime she has two others to take that will help her tummy heal and get her appetite back, the which of she is getting. Then we will start her back on the Tetracycline, but on a smaller dose, spread out over a longer period of time. It is working as yesterday's tests show more improvement. Poor baby has been on meds ever since the beginning of July. And has had her series of ups and downs just like we do. But it's good to know that the infection is slowly starting to subside although the vet did say she may have a bit of a set back right now cause she is off the Tetracycline for a bit. But she is on Estrogen, so hopefully that will help. So we shall all take off for a weeks vacation, meds and all. Oh yeah, we will be needing a supply of boneless chicken breasts for awhile too as she is eating that, so need to keep making some for her food  We are starting to be like Barbzee and Ms. Reba here.

Dawn, glad to hear you had a good talk with you mom. I continue to hope and pray that all goes well. LIke you say, maybe once you get someplace where there are more things to interest her, she will get moving more. Hopefully in two weeks you can hit the road again. Good thing thatyou have Paul there too.

Well, time to be off and get moving here although I feel a little nap coming on already. Getting sleepy while i am on here. Might head for the recliner for a short as it's just now getting light out. Will be spending my week catching up on posts and other forum stuff if my internet connection is good. Otherwise will have to get in a public WiFi area before I can do anything. So you all have a nice day, you hear. If you are on the road, be safe. Soos, thanks for the beautiful fall pics and the pics of the festival site. Have fun.

Morning CarolB (with a -) and Sue and all that stumble in for their coffee...(like me)

As I'm drinking my coffee and have a few minutes I thought I'd check to see how the GTG in TN is going..
Looks like the Sistahs are enjoying their time and who wouldn't I mean.. some Wine, some Banana Puddin' and
some more Wine...hahahaha... yeah you can look at all their faces and KNOW they is having a good time..Oh and
that Fire at night...Love it !!!

Sue, glad Ms Tessa is coming along.. but really don't fret cause she's eating other than her own food.. I just make
sure I put a bib on Ms Reba hahaha..she gets in my face and demands what I'm having..regardless..

I've been going since 4am and got the Banana Nut Bars out of the oven cooling and will frost soon with Brown Butter
Frostings... I'm mixed up the Brownies and they'll go in next and then frost with Marshmellow fluff and sprinkle graham
cracker crumbs over top and then shaved chocolate bars..Yes, that's my Brownie S'mores Cake.. simple like me :)

All the food I made I have in the freezer cept those puff pastry roll ups with all different jams ...they are already baked
The Lasagna Rollups and the Spinach and Mushroom Pin wheels will be baked at our friends house..and the Shrimp is done thanks to "Shop Rite"...hahaha..yeah I couldn't get it all done ...didn't have any more room..and this was the best of both worlds...but I did make the Cocktail sauce...hahaha..

Ok, I need another cup of coffee and I'm gonna post a sign on my door..."Gone Fishing".. ..and all next week I have to make food up for the Freezer for Hubby..so he can't say, "I left him without anything " LOL Nah he never complains..well wait maybe once in a while...hahahaha...

GOOD MORNING SISTAHS!!!

Just a quick stop by this morning. Have to finish getting around and out the door. Have a doctors appt at 10:45 this morning in Seymour TN and it will probably take me about 45min to get there. It's not that it that many miles away but I have to go thru 2 1/2 towns to get to the office. Blech!

Not overly bight outside, sure no sunshine outside my door, kinda hazy and gray looking out there. And it's warm and muggy! Don't know for sure if it's gonna rain or not as I haven't checked the weather yet. Gonna have to wait until I get back too! ;)

No time either to read and see what everyone's been up to..... I see in a couple of the posts that I will be wanting to do that when I get back home today. Gonna be gone for more than a couple of hours once I leave for the doctors. Down to office, wait in waiting room, back to Pigeon Forge and of course I will have paper work to take to safety at Dollywood after the doctors visit. Then maybe I can get back to home.

Everyone have a great day and remember to stay safe!!! If for some reason ya can't have a 'great' day? Then I at leave hope that it's an easier one that you were expecting!!!

Love to all

Morning everyone!

Still not much happening here. It's supposed to start raining this afternoon and then possibly all day tomorrow. Got tickled at Paul and Mom yesterday. They left to go get another Golden Passport card for Mom and one for Paul now that he has letter stating he is disabled. They drove to Decatur. Then Paul called me to look up on my iPad where they needed to go. Told him the name of the place. He said they had seen signs for that so were going there. They came back a couple hours later sans either card.  He said that was the last time he was going to take off with Mom to go someplace without knowing the exact address of where they needed to go. He is going to look it up and then map his directions. I am so glad I decided to stay here since I had just put a load in the dryer at the laundry.

Been watching everyone leave for work from this park this morning. We have figured out that most of the people staying here are working in the area. Probably on the gas wells. Either that or they are in the service and stationed at the Naval Air Station. Makes for a very quiet park, especially during the day. Got another load of laundry to do today.

Glad to hear that Tessa is doing better. I hope her stomach settles soon now that she is not having to take that particular antibiotic.

Hope everyone has a wonderful day and if you are traveling, stay safe.

Morning! I've been up and about - taking the truck to the shop then going to breakfast with Mark. As I'm reading about all the finicky eaters, I hear Oscar in the kitchen scarfing down breakfast. He's my finickiest. And then the water - slurp, slurp, slurp. I have to fuss at him because he will drink until he makes himself sick.

Not much else going on here today - we may get some rain this afternoon and a lot more tomorrow. So I can't wait to see more pics of the GTGs. That's my excitement this weekend. 34 more days until I pull into Potter's Creek.

Good Morning... coffee is hot and I will share... I went to a banquet last night for 'Living Alternatives Pregnancy Resource Center'... I choose life... it was wonderful to see several hundred people there...
I have to put air in the tires of my trike today! Yesterday I tried to ride it on the trail and it was like pushing a wheel barrow full of sand... after that my knees started to do the thing...
Will start making plans to go to Comlara some time next month... after that week I will have my MH winterized and wait until spring...
I trust you are all having a great day....
