Northwest GTG 2012 - Sept 27-Oct 2

Well, it is 5:00 and I am officially on vacation. Now it is time to get serious about packing.

Yippee Joan, cant wait to meet you. I was all packed so decided just to head up here today. I am all tucked in my spot and there are vacant spots everywhere....all of ours have little green signs that say "One Night Only" ha ha No one was in my spot so that made it nice. Lovely trees all around, shade is great, lots of grass behind me, great spot for a meeting center.

There is a little more freeway noise than I thought, but what the hey, I am camping!!!!

Cant wait for the rest of the troops tomorrow

I'm only about 45 miles away and should have kept on driving .... but had taken my time today, gone shopping, gone to a wildlife refuge, stopped and walked Peaches and had had enough - so stopped. I think I needed food. Will get in early tomorrow - well as early as I get my self moving (Laura told me you picked the loop closest to I5 - we'll all be so busy chatting and eating, we won't know it).

So, don't look for me at the Salem rest area - I won't be there. Cannot wait to see everyone!

The parts came in today and I got my trailer back after work. I've been busy trying to pack everything I need. Didn't make it to the grocery store because I ran out of steam. I'll go in the morning then come back, load up the last of the stuff and head out to the rest area.

Good morning from the Great Northwest GTG!

Marda, Ellen, Kari and I made it in about 3:30 yesterday. Diana, Karen, Joan, Sandi and Beth were already here. Lynn and Ann are supposed to be here today although I haven't seen any updates from Lynn. I hope she got her truck issues solved. Sheila said she'd be here tomorrow. Hopefully Susan from Merlin will drop in and say hi as well.

The weather is kinda warm for this time of year BUT its NOT raining! Yippee!

I know everyone wants pictures so we'll try to get some posted soon...
