I'm an oldie who's a newbie....

Come on in and say hello.

I'm an oldie who's a newbie....

Postby anncat » Tue Sep 25, 2012 9:28 pm

Hi. I'm anncat (Ann). I live in NW Oregon and signed papers this afternoon to acquire a new class-C motorhome.

My daughter Laura (cougarfan) insisted that I must join Women RV, so here I am. I've actually been to several mini GTGs and plan to be at the GTG at Valley of the Rogue later this week, providing I can load enough stuff in the new RV to survive for a couple of days. I pick it up tomorrow afternoon.

I love to travel -- absolutely LOVE TO TRAVEL. I've been to all 50 states and to Europe 4 times. We Sagittarians are like that, apparently. Laura and I talked about how I should display my visit-the-states map and I think I will have 3 US maps - the first will have all 50 colored in; the second will have all the states I've camped in; and the 3rd will start with Oregon, the first state for the new RV. "On the Road Again, just can't wait to get on the road again....."

I'm looking forward to new adventures.

OMGosh, Ann, you did it! I can't wait to see it. When I met you with Laura, you said this is what you wanted - and you went and did it. Good for you!! Now I know not to take your threats lightly! :D

Hi Ann! That's great that you got your MH. Now you and Laura can share adventures as well as go your own way.

Hiya Ann, so glad you finally joined us here. I know you already know all about most of us ha ha Just the good stuff of course!! WOW I was laughing when Laura told me you were looking hard at the RV. I know it is exactly the kind you were looking for, and I also know how hard it is to find "just that one". You know how long and hard I looked. (dragging Ann's butt with Laura and I to try out all the seats until I found one that was just right) This one too soft, this one too hard, lol

Really excited you are going to join us at the GTG. You have such a wealth of RV info you can be a big help to some of our newbies, and also us oldsters.
