O happy day! My dentist saved the bridge! I'm back on track to leave Monday for Red Bluff, Tule Lake, Klamath Falls. Over to Rogue River on Thursday. Did I read that check in isn't until 4 pm at Rogue River?

So excited to see so many creating plans to join the fun! Sheila, hope you can swing it! And all the newbies too. YAY! Build it and they will come. Good job Laura! And good luck with the trailer work.

See y'all soon!!!

P.S. Lenora......where are you?!?

I just got home from Idaho. I sprung Harley from dog jail and went over to the rv dealer to see if the repair kit had arrived. It hadn't...sigh. So, I'm going to drop the trailer off tomorrow and the service manager is going to look at the axle and see if the bearings are okay or if they need to be replaced. If they're okay, then I'll go ahead and take the trailer to the gtg regardless if they get it fixed. If they're not okay, then I hope they get the kit in by Wednesday with enough time to do the repair.

I'm not sure what I will do yet if the bearings need to be replaced and the kit doesn't arrive in time. I will worry about that next week :(

I checked ReserveAmerica. There are no reservations for the night of the 26th for F loop. While there may be drop ins, I don't think getting there early on the 27th
will be a problem. Worst case scenario is you have to hang out in the rest stop for awhile. I don't have a lot of experience but I have not had a problem checking into an OR state park early.

Diana, I checked into my site about noon where I am now - and my neighbor checked in about 8:30 this morning for his reservation starting today. Seems as long as the site is open, you're good to go. Course, if it's not, then you have to wait.

Laura didn't mention that she stopped by with her Mom, Ann, today. So great to finally meet her! Can't wait to get together for longer than just the hour we had today. And I'm hoping Ann comes down for a day (or two or three) as she says she might.

Diana, good news on the bridge. So glad you're on track for Monday.

Laura, I hope they have good news for you - hate the waiting.

It looks like its about 360 miles from where you are to the gtg. We sure hope you can make it! Like Marda said, there are plenty of spots available in F loop. Come for all the days or just a few. Whatever works for your schedule.

We don't have a chat room in this forum so we just keep in touch thru our posts, emails, PM's (private messages) and at the gtg's.

I think what she meant is that no one has reserved any of our spots for the night before so we all should be able to check in early.

That is what I meant by no reservations. Most of the sites are open the night before our gathering so there is no need to fear having to wait on the 27th for someone to leave before we could check in. Sorry for the confusion.

LOL yes, we had a mini-gtg today and I forgot to mention it. I can't believe I did that....I guess I was so focused on the possibility that I might not be able to go to the gtg after I found out the repair kit didn't come in that the rest of the day just disappeared.

It was so fun to finally meet Beth in person after "knowing" her for about 6 years LOL I'm not sure if my Mom will make it to the gtg or not but she is certainly considering it.

I cannot wait for this gtg. So many new people coming - and people I've "known" for years but finally get to meet - and others I've met and can't wait to see again. And now Sheila will be with us, too.... yippee. She's afraid she'll be a problem - as I invited her to bunk with me - I told her she might have to take it up with Peaches - she's the one who might not want to give up her bed lol
