TeAntae and Louise - Your family sounds wonderful! Mine is supportive in that so far they're not arguing too strongly, but all of you are so positive!

Yes, he's been asking all sorts of questions (workamping, storing the RV when not on the road, etc...), that I'm definitely hopefully. He's so use to the kind of pop-up RV camping trips he did as a child that he didn't understand the appeal. "After you've seen the sites, then what?" It's workamping aspectic really has him intrigued. If it happens, it won't be few some years yet (sell house, get finances in order) but I'm hopeful. Mom's success will probably push him over that hump. That's right mom, it's all on you!

My whole family rv's, so when I took off by myself after DH passed they were all for it. I say..the family that rv's together stay's in touch better! Or something like that....At least if you're living in your rv, Louise, they can't borrow it for a vacation!

Welcome, TeAntae! It's great that you are giving your Mother so much support. And RVing is definitely contagious...and a great family activity.

Wow! When you said you'd be looking for a "cooking job," you were slightly understating your career!

Wow...The Sultan ( aka as Dock/Ernie my hubby... ;) ) is so excited about meeting a trained chef..... ;) He's a "Foody" and does most of the cooking...and drives me nuts with his recipe searches....and I'm always his "Guinna Pig"... But he really is pretty good at it and has won "cold Cash" for his Chili at a cook off at one of our GTGs here...Lots of our travels involve visiting restaurants of famous Chefs, such as Emeril, Wolfgang Puck, and others...He also is a big "Food Network" fan.....After he retired from the Army, he went to work for the PA Liquor Control Stores so also knows alot about wine, too....Okay, I've been running off with this...But just wanted give you the "heads up".... ;)  In our 5er we have 1 set of pans, 1 small saute pan, 1 12" fry pan, 1 8" iron skillet, 1 electric skillet, lots of spices, and a "Baby Weber" grill....

Now I'm the baker and the "comfort food" maker....

Okay, T, I'll stop for now....

Congratulations T! Cannot wait to taste your food. I bet it is really good! I love to cook and try new recipes, but no where near the level of a true chef.

No worries at all! I can talk food 24/7! Mom can confirm my huge cookbook collection which I'd have to put into storage if I went full-timing. That or tow a trailer!

Right now I'm assisting a friend get her pastry business to the next level. Totally different world to savory. Savory = artist smock. Pastry = lab coat. I do prefer savory cooking but my pastry experience so far has been fascinating.
