I tried that out at the sand dunes with a bunch of old canceled checks....not as easy as it sounds. I was still feeding paper to the fire after everyone had gone in and there was ash blowing everywhere. You can't just dump it all in, the middle doesn't burn, it trys to put the fire out and smokes real bad. Now I take old paperwork to the Post-It place and they shred it for me. Worth the money!!
