Extended Warrenty Insurance

Next problem to solve is to get an after market extended warrenty. Who carries Extended Warrenty Insurance? If you do which company do you recommend? In reading other forums the opinions are all over the place; both on to carry or not carry and policies that basically are useless because of exclusions. I would like the piece of mind a good policy would provide but I want to make sure it is a quality policy.
Thanks

Try Good Sam. They have a pretty good reputation.

And read the small print and know your deductibles and just what is covered. Personally, I don't find them worth the cost - BUT if it gives YOU peace of mind, then the cost is worth it to you.

I would look at the Good Sam's policy if I were to go with one.

I agree with the Good Sam policy. From what I have read, it will probably be what I go with when that time comes.

I went with Good Sam, and it does give me peace of mind. After all, a refrigerator replacement is about a thousand dollars. I intend to use the Ford extended plan policy for my truck this spring, too. If I were a person with any kind of savings, I might forgo that type of insurance. But I have no money saved, so, if something major happens, I would be landlocked for many long months.

Me too Soos for the same reasons. Cannot afford to take a big hit financially. I have savings account where I put back some every month, but the what if's really bother me if something really major goes wrong. That is what insurance of any kind is for.
